Hilis beat Rodgers, there's no stopping him now. I personally love it, but I have a feeling this is gonna be the last and only time EA lets people vote for the Madden cover with more than 5 nominees.

They've done it before. And what they did is they completed ignored the fan vote and went with their own thing. For instance, last year Drew Brees did not win the fan vote. Adrian Peterson did. And the year before that, neither Polamalu nor Fitzgerald won the fan vote. Ed Reed won. So it would not surprise me if they completely ignored Hillis if he did win.

Thank god Aaron Rodgers lost... I was ready to give up on next season if he made the cover...

I voted for Hillis because I don't want to look at Vick while I am playing Madden, but part of me hopes he wins and gets a big bull prodding from the Madden curse...

I want Hillis for two reasons. One, he reminds me of old school NFL. Hard, tough running. Smashmouth football. Second, Vick has already been on the cover, he doesn't need it a second time. I do think Vick will win however.

All I have to say is this- There is a reason the Eagles was both the most watched team last year and most used Madden team.

Who cares if the madden game new year is crap, when the cover looks so fly!

The Eagles are the most used Madden team because they're one of the easiest teams to cheese with, not because they're particularly popular. It's the same reason the Lions are used frequently, it's very easy to cheese with Calvin Johnson and Jahvid Best. You have a QB with a 90 spd, 95 throw power and a 95 throw on the run coupled with Jeremy Maclin (95 spd) and DeSean Jackson (99 spd) and there's no way to defend it because if you defend the pass, Vick will run 20 yards on you and if you contain the QB, Jax or Maclin will get open for a TD. And then you have McCoy whose not only super fast, but he can catch the ball as well out of the backfield and it's pretty much overkill. Lol, sorry, I just have a lot of experience with people picking the Eagles and cheesing with them. I can beat them with the Colts, Raiders or Ravens, but I don't really like those teams and I hate being forced to choose them because I know someone is going to cheese with the Eagles.

Lol, well maybe not AS popular, but I think that's a given since Vick is a 93 and Kolb is a 77. Still, even without Vick, they'd be tough to beat with all the speed they have on offense. I like playing with the Ravens too. They're probably the most legit all around team. Their corners are weak, but their playbook generates enough pressure that it's a nonissue. You can really play any way you want with them and that's the only team I can think of that's like that.

Vick defenitley! I undertsand if you hate him because of what he did off the field, but on the field this guy is a committed nfl player who could beat the browns and peyton hillis anyday.

Yeah, vick is kind of the straw that breaks the camel's back for me. Cover fastest receiver in the game? Fine,I can do that. And Maclin? OK, I can do that. And McCoy? OK, I think I can do that. And cover an above average tightend? OK. "Oh, I forget to mention my QB is probably faster then your entire team." I tried using the Colts... can't do it.

I just can't imagine hillis on the cover, he's a decent rb, but the browns make him look bad because he's a talneted player on an untalented team.

Lol. The only reason I can win with the Colts is because I can out shoot them. Manning + Clark is a lethal combination and unstoppable for a team with a bad/average linebacking corps. It's half luck though. Like, if you don't win the coin toss and you don't get the extra possession by kicking it off first, you'll get outscored.

I think Hillis won people over by single handedly winning them games this season. I mean, he carried that team on his back and took his licks while doing it. He's the definition of tough and his bruising running style is fun to watch. He wore down at the end of the season (understandably I think, considering he's the only productive part of the offense). I think that was also in part because teams recognized him as the biggest threat. Anyways, I would honestly LOVE to see a guy like Hillis make the cover. So many times it's that flashy guy making it and I just want to see this guy who puts his head down and pushes through the mud have his moment.

Well he didn't win yet haha. Yeah, his team sucked, but remember Calvin Johnson from a couple of years back? He had 1300 yards and 12 TDs on a 0-16 Detroit team, but he got some cover buzz. I don't think people would be mad if he made the cover haha.

He wasn't garbage but he definitely wasn't as good. Didn't he have zero picks until like week 10 or something? Still though, if he averaged what he did at the second half of the season over the entire year, he'd be MVP-caliber.He underwhelmed in the playoffs though.

He was good,he just wasn't wasn't mindblowingly awesome in some of those game. Even as a Vick fan I knew there was no way he could keep that up. He didn't beat the eventual SB champs, but came damn close (not saying it as an excuse)

Yes, teams definitely figured him out. It always happens with running QBs. They ruin everyone's **** for half a season, then get figured out.
