Ok I know what a No Hitter is but isnt that what the White Sox pitcher did. Throw a no hitter? I mean that happens almost every year but people are calling this a Perfect Game. Can somebody please explain the difference between a no hitter and a perfect game.

perfect game that not only did you allow no hit but you faced the minimum ammount of batter which is 27 for an entire game(9 innings * 3 outs each inning)and you also did not walk a batter, hit a batter, have a runner get on from a dropped 3rd stirck, ect. basically means no hits and no one got on base. no hitters happen every year but most of the time there is atleast a walk, a hit batter or something. for example mark berhlre's first no hitter he allowed 1 walk there therefore it's just a no hitter this time it a perfect game cause he didn't let a hit or a base runner

Yeah what he said. Its 3-up 3-down every inning without anyone getting on base.

Actually that's kind of misleading. A guy can get on somehow and the next guy ground into a double play. That's facing the minimum number of batters, but it's not a perfect game. A perfect game is simply: Nobody reaches base. Whereas a no-hitter is: Nobody reaches base via a hit. A walk, hit batsmen, etc eliminates a perfect game, but keeps a no-hitter in tact.

Buehrle faced the minimum in his first no hitter as well. He walked Sammy Sosa and then picked him off. I'm sure most of you are aware, but Sanchez for SF only missed a perfect game a couple weeks ago b/c of an error in the 8th inning. Tough break.

actually what flowers said is more accurate being 27 up and 27 down meaning every single batter that comes you get out

What the others have said, no base runners (hit batter, walks), including no errors. So 27 up 27 down for the game. 3 up 3 down each inning.
