Being an Ohio State student, and their performance against MSU, I say OSU will pull it out...
Won't be surprised at all if they don't though. It will be close.
If Ohio State wins it will mean the Big 10 is a joke.
It will also hurt college football overall.
Ohio State has been a big fish in a small pond for years. They play well in the Big 10 and get smacked senseless when they play the elite teams in the nation.
Penn State looks good this season. If Ohio State beats them that will solidify the fact that the Big 10 can only make paper champions.
The whole validity of conference rests in this game

I'm tired of hearing this, OSU was never talked about like this before 2006. Before 06, they were 4-0 in BCS games, including a NC. And the whole SEC crap, they may not be good in the bowls, but they are beating the SEC 7-2-1 in regular season. The Big Ten as a whole in the last decade actually has a better record against the SEC then the other way around.
On top of that if the big ten was so weak, why are 4 teams ranked in the top 25? 2 of which are in the top 10. Why is over half the conf. have 5-2 or better records?
If OSU beats Penn state, it means nothing about the Big 10 conf. Have we not learned ANYTHING about the upsets that have been happening over the past few years? Ole Miss beat florida? Does that mean the SEC is a joke? No. Oregon state beat USC even though PSU stepped all over Oregon State a bad thing? No because USC is a much better team then that.
It's called Any Given Gameday! this has trap game all over it. It's a night game with two top 10 teams in the horseshoe, which is one the of hardest places to play in the country.

Of course it was talked about before 2006.Since 2000 people were wondering how long Big 10 football would last.
The conference used to pride itself on getting big strong players that could dominate both lines of scrimmage and relied on a strong running game with a passer that never needed to be prolific. It's one reason Michigan is quarterback U in the NFL.
The rest of college football has passed the Big 10. Now they ALL have big players that can run faster and jump higher. That's why Ohio State has been embarrassed in the title games.
Ohio State has benefited from it's conference being so weak because they play Big 10 football.
Penn State changed. They have speed and athleticism to go along with it's size. Michigan is also going away from Big 10 football because both schools know that's the only way you can compete on a national level.
Ohio State is happy only winning the Big 10, that's settling for second place each season.

Is that a new term to mean "Giant Offensive Liability"?
He's got some good points but the team can only run one WR patterns because he doesn't know how to go through a progression.
He even lost Ohio State's last chance to win because he can only follow one WR against a defense.

i liked how when we played florida two years ago florida was the under dog... and i gotta say USC doesnt play against any weak teams like washington, california, UCLA, oregon state, oregon, arizona, arizona state, and whoever else. atleast we beat our crappy teams and dont lose to them 2 years in a rowDo you think Penn St. deserves to move into the number 2 spot after their win, or does Alabama beating an unranked Tennessee team keep them in the number 2 spot?
Personally I would like to see Joe P. get a shot at winning a title before he kicks the bucket, cause he has had to put up with some really bad teams the last 10 years.
