Let's have some predictions, shall we? As you can see I'm a Buckeye fan, so obviously they will win. But, by how many points?

I think Wells will be back, and better than ever. With that said, my prediction is OSU 24 - USC 10. That D is tenacious!

Game of the century? How can that prediction be made? And we've had some pretty damn good ones already this decade with USC-Texas and OU-BSU.

That's what the media is hyping this game as. Hence, the quotation marks. I would personnaly vote for the OSU/Miami BCS game in 2003. Man, that was awesome! Or even the Boise St./OU game from 2007. Of course, being a Buckeye fan... the little upset that took place in Ann Arbor last year was so nice! Go App. St.!!

Ohio State is playing a legit team from another BCS conference...so, they'll be killed. Like they usually are when that happens.

Game of the Century? Pfft screw that title. If Ohio State doesn't get dominated in this game, I will be disappointed with USC.

Seriously. Pete Carrol has an extra week to coach up his Defense. And the USC Offense is fast with Sanchez's big arm leading the way.

Definitely not the game of the century, but if Wells is out, I don't see OSU coming close to beating USC.

by the national championships this conference has over usc's confrence, look at the teams in the top 10 3 sec teams, UGA should be number one and will be at the end of the season. no head to head match ups but everything else the sec is just better, no sec national championship contender would have lost to texas lol

USC will probably slaughter OSU. I'll guess along the lines of 35-10.

And Game of the Century my ass.

the only teams worthy of talking abotu in the SEC are Florida and Alabama. Georgia is garbage. Moreno is under-sized and weak. Get on your knees Mark Richt.

Alabama, HAH. Did you see the stats from their game against Tulane?

Moreno undersized and weak? Last I checked he hadn't missed a game yet, and if you can get through a SEC schedule without missing a game at RB you aren't "weak".

game of the century was already played and that was the USC vs Texas game a few years ago

as for this game though, I really hope wells is back from his injury so there are no excuses if USC wins. Even if he does play I predict USC will win this one and the final score will be 35-14 USC

Game of the century my big, white, hairy ***. The Game of the Century was Oklahoma/Boise State in that memorable Fiesta Bowl. Runner up was USC/Texas a couple of years back. Ohio State is overrated. They consistently play a weak schedule, go to BCS bowl games, where they get blown out by actual programs. USC by at least two touchdowns.

Teams in the SEC "worthy of talking about":
Florida
Georgia
Bama
Auburn
heck, even LSU

As for the OSU/USC game, I don't care which way this game goes... the winner will lose to an SEC team in January anyway.

As the creator of this thread, I will say this again. The "game of the century" is something the media was using to hype this game. It has since been changed to the "collision at the Colosseum."

And for all you SEC fans out there... we'll see what happens when OSU takes on UGA for the title. That is if UGA can make it through that ridiculously hard schedule, minus the first two games of course.

Do you really believe this, or are you just trying to comfort yourself about how Moreno is going to run (or jump) over your team this year?

Ohio State needs to step-up and prove something in this huge game. Wells is back, hopefully in pretty good condition for the game, as well as the other starting CB, Donald Washington.

Game of the century...pffft media lol, Just a great non conference game.

My bet is Ohio State losing by more than a touchdown, Hope OSU wins though because if Oklahoma decides to not choke this year(I live in Oklahoma, I can hope...) they would definatly match up better against OSU in a championship game than USC.

I'm so sick of people saying that OSU is overrated. They have a great coach, who happens to be an awesome recruiter. They have been loaded with talent since he began recruiting. They also have so much depth at key positions, you can easily trade on player for another with little or no difference in quality of play. I think most of the people who do say that are just mad because their team can't even win the conference they're in. I'll admit that the BigTen is weak, but so is the Pac-10. The Big12 is not that impressive either, four good teams tops. Out of 12 that's not that great. You can't say that Oklahoma isn't overrated if you beleive OSU is. BigEast and ACC are jokes, there might be two good teams total from both. Now there's the SEC. Yes it is the toughest conference, but how often do they play a BCS team out of conference? Of course, you could ask that same question to all the major conferences. I would love to see less 1-AA schools on BCS team schedules, but those 1-AA schools aren't forced to play BCS teams. They do it for the money. But the point here is that saying a team that's loaded with talent and depth is overrated is just not smart. Now, whether or not the team lives up to it's potential is another discussion altogether. Remeber, these guys are young and still have alot of growing to do.

You know what I find funny, OSU is I believe 11-3 in non conference games against BCS opponents. 2 of those coming in a national championship. Yet they are overrated. The Big Ten is overrated, and yet since the BCS started is near .500 against SEC opponents, and yet only because OSU struggles against SEC teams (And yet OSU dominateds the B10)...the B10 is overrated.

people need to get off the bandwagon, seriously...stfu, because before the last two national championships. They were 4-1 in BCS bowl games, one of which was ding! a national championship.

It's all good. They're just saying what USC wants to hear. Wells will probably practice a little on Friday. But he'll tough it out, and be ready to go Saturday night. He did play with a bad foot pretty much all season last year. 1600 yards, 15 td. Not bad if you ask me.

Two great programs with two of the best coaches in college football. Wells will play and if he doesn't then oh well. Just hope its a good game who ever wins. I do love the hate for OSU though. They seem to play better when the media and the rest of the USA calls them overrated. I say Bucks pull the upset with a 3 point victory over a great USC team. I sure as hell am worried about this one though. Expect to see alot of spread with Prior on the helm is Wells does not play.

OSU did not look good at all against Ohio last week. I have heard that a reason for that was due to the Tressel not opening up his playbook to hinder USC scouts, but even so, trailing Ohio for most of the game is not impressive. USC should have their way against Ohio State.

i dont get how people say USC vs Texas is the game of the century, its overrated. it was definetaly a top 10 game of all time but the best game of all time thats a joke and, if you didnt think vince young was gonna run the ball in then you are stupid. the game of the century (so far) is OSU vs Miami in the national championship or boise state vs oklahoma.

anwyays on-topic of course i am gonna say OSU is gonna win

OSU- 35

USC- 27
