I see the team being like the Pistons after they won their 04 championship. Contenders every year but they are way over the hill.
Good, a slowing obstacle for the Three Kings down south during the Playoffs, just what the Lakers need.
As a celtics fan, i'd be ok if Allen left. He's just too streaky.. if he's on when we need him to be then he's amazing, but if he's off.. just too risky. The defense he bring sis great tho, I just think we could find someone who is more consistent. fastrThought I agree with you to some extent, who else would you have brought in if he had left? He is still one of the best if not the best shooters still in the NBA. He stunk the last few games of the finals because of the great defense he was playing against Kobe.

I don't know if he really is the best anymore, it wasn't great defense stopping those shots he missed a ton of wide open shots. They backed off him because he was a non threat, you wanted him throwing 3s. I'm a casual NBA fan tho, so I honestly couldn't tell you who they could replace him with tho. i only really follow the NFL closely.

Well to think in game 2 of the finals he shot the record for threes I would think he is still one of the best. Yes he did stink down the stretch, but to say because of a couple of games in the finals he is all of sudden not one of the best is crazy.

I don't like streaky players, i'd rather have someone who isn't as good but consistent.
I never really saw him leaving, but if he did I thought it would be Miami. It's good for Boston to keep the crew together.
The Big Three vs. The Three Kings. Master_LiveScrew the Three Kings. Only wade should have that honor. He actually won a ring.
