Sure the C's would be the oldest team in the league but to have a guy like Reggie Miller who is known to be that "clutch" kind of player, the C's can really make things happen, offensively. Now they need to focus on defense!!

#31 to come out of retirement?

Reggie Miller is my Idol...I would love to see him come here and play for the C's...but being realistic about it...he's 42 years old...I just don't see it happening. Or if he did come back, I think he'd do more damage to the team, unless he's been playing consistantly all this time, which I doubt. Remember when Jordan came out of retirement...not the first time...the second time when he was 40 and played for the Wizards...it'll be like that, but a little worse...

The good thing about it is he's always been a lean lanky player, and I questioned if he was going to survive the physicality of the NBA back when he was a rookie. I thought to myself, this scrawny guy will get battered and bruised coming off screens and drawing fouls. But he was a lot tougher than I expected. He had no major injuries so he was durable. Most players his age, just sit around and get fat. It wouldn't take much for him to get back in shape. Most importantly, as rusty as he might be, a pure shooter like Reggie never loses his shot! Michael Jordan, as great of a player he was, practically came down to earth that second time he came out of retirement. He should have never left that second time. I think Reggie would do well coming off the bench to light up opponents while Ray Allen gets some rest.

Believe it or not Tryfe, I was the only NYer rocking that Miller jersey in the playground at the time when the Pacers were feuding with the Knicks. You can believe the jokes I had to absorb. My comeback was, "Miller is a much better player than John Starks!" Reggie would be a great addition!

Eddie House is on the NJ Nets...get your facts straight...we have Ray Allen...one of the premier two-guards in the league...worry about your woeful Pistons...ha ha...anyways, we need to fill up the bench with more options...if Miller is in good conditioning, then he wouldn't be a bad option at the league minimum...

I LOVE Miller, outside of the Dream, he was my favorite player. I'm sure he can still shoot and he's still skinny and can probably still run around. I don't see why not; it's not like anybody plays defense in the NBA nowadays. I'm sure he can put in a valuable 10+ minutes per game. Or maybe just having him around for the playoffs should be enough, we all know how clutch he is.

AHA celtics fan doesn't know whose on his own team. Seriously though, any returning NBAers should latch onto the spurs if they want a good chance at winning the title

Small time factoid that passed under the radar last week...Eddie House is insignificant in the grand scheme of things and his role will be minimal especially with the Big Ticket, Ray Ray and P-Double leading the squad!!!
