Remember when we used to get sports games....whether it be baseball, basketball, football, or any other sports game...we used to put it in easy mode...just so we could hit homeruns, and score touchdowns and win games like 100 to nothing???
and you used to turn of fair trades just so you could trade a whole bunch of no-names for superstars.....
I remember those days....now i need to play it on the highest difficulty...i like it to be hard...i like close games....
Were you like that?? I really dont understand how i could enjoy that though...but i was just a little kid...
yea I was like that when I was younger, I used to beat teams like 77-6 on NFL 2k when I had the dreamcast but it was like on rookie lol, I guess as you grow older you enjoy the challenges much more
I was like that when I was younger with ken griffey jr baseball on the n64. I would just use the homerun cheat with ken griffey jr every time he came to bat, I guess it was fun back then. But yeah, now I like everything to be perfectly realistic and I like a challenge in my sports games.Â
I was like that on Fifa and Pro Evo i use to win games 8-0 and the only thing keeping it from being much higher was the goalkeeper having a awesome game. I remember one game on pro evo where i had something like 30 shots on target but only scored 4 the goalkeeper was pretty much superhuman in that game. I still try games on easy every now and again but because im much better at games now than i was then i find them very boring with me scoring at least 12 goals a game and them not having a shot on target thats why i love playing on professional because those 1-0 games are so intense knowing 1 mistake could even the game out and your back to square one.
I'm 31 and still like easy mode for some games. I'll throw Madden on rookie mode for a few snaps just to relieve some stress and have fun beating up on the AI. I don't care if the final score is 72-0, I play to relax. If I want a challenge I'll just wait for the following day at work, where I'll be struggling to get through the day without the temptation of punching one of my idiotic co-workers in the snot box. I do All-Madden 8 hours a day as it is, I don't need to do it again once I get home.
Yea I did that a lot as a kid. I remember I used to pummel the Bucs, the worst team in the game, with the 49ers in Tecmo Super Bowl on the Genesis lol.
I would do that with Triple Play 2000 for N64 like everyday. I would start a season as the Boston Red Sox and trade for every single amazing play and go undefeated every year. I miss the days when stuff like that was fun.
