Lets make some predictions on how the Jets will end up next season.

Hopefully, the human interception machine that is Brett Favre will be gone but other than that, the Jets will probably have most of the same guys starting on both ends of the ball and may potentially improve them via the draft and free agency. The talent is there but the coaching last season was miserable toward the end of the season. With Rex Ryan at the helm, the defense will improve drastically and Brian Schottenheimer will be allowed to call plays more liberally. I say they go 11-5 with a deep playoff run.

Even if they improve its still going to be hard for them. The pats have a lot of people coming back healthy, and the dolphins are not going to get worse. Personally(and thsi says a lot,I am a pats fan and cant stand him)but i think the jets made a mistake in firing mangini,I blame him a lot less than i blame managment for saddling him with the gunslinger.

I feel that my jets will do better next season. I feel that if Farve is gone, Clemens can step into the roll that he should have had last year and be a solid QB. Will he rate up there with P. Mamming, Brady, Warner, probably not. But I feel he can be solid and really help the team. The jets offense was solid except for the interceptions. It killed all momentum each game and I do feel Mangini was done with the jets mentially. So lets see what Rex does

They should keep Favre, and hand it off to Jones every play. But really, I think if they can't get a QB their offense will be too one sided. I'm worried about their defense though, Ryan should help the secondary improve, and Jenkins was the surprise of the year on that team. If they get a good QB they have no reason not to come second in the division.

Favre should be cut if he doesn't show up for training camp.

Period.

He thinks he can get out of doing WORK and is entitled to just showing up for the Regular Season.

I gave up on him a long time ago. He's burned too many bridges and I think he's a arrogant bum.

No, Mangini deserved to be fired. It's going to come down to what Rex does what that pathetic Jets defense. Also I really don't see what you guys see in Clemens; maybe I'm missing where the potential is.

well thats not hard to understand cause he gets very little play time but I saw him at training camp, very solid. Decent arm, good accuracry, with time, he could have been what Pennington could have been for the jets if they had an O line to protect him
