Anyone hear about this?

I think he's faking it, so that he sounds all tough.

i heard about it before the superbowl, only a few ppl out side of the NFL knew about it, and no he wasnt faking it, the man just had one of the best 2 minute drives in the history of the NFL and is guaranteed a spot in the HoF, why on earth would he fake a rib injury? that sounds like something that a 14 year old would type.

I heard it on ESPN. They said he thought it was a kidney problem. But it turns out, it was broken ribs.

He's lying about it just to sound like a tough guy which he isn't... and that 2 minute drive wasn't all that special. What was special, was that impossible catch.

Proof he was faking it? Did you watch the Baltimore game? Right after he was hit from one of the LB's, he was seen clinching his abdomen, in pain. Leftwich was warming up getting ready to play, they thought it was just a false alarm, SI reported he had some kind of injury, now reported as fractured ribs. The 2 minute drive wasnt special? lol...right...

I've heard he will make his injuries sound worse then they are! Either way he's still a great young QB and had a great 2 minute drive!!

I think he's faking it, so that he sounds all tough.

Think what you want. He's definatly the toughest QB in the league by far. He takes countless hits every game as a result of a subpar offensive line and always seems to get back up, with the exception of the concussion he served week 17 against Cleveland. I'm not surprised one bit to hear about him playing with an injury like this. I measn the inkury may be bad, but it's the Super Bowl, and just like Hines Ward, it's worth the pain to play in the Super Bowl.
