I know this old news for hardcore boxing fans but im just new to this gamespot and id like to talk to some people.

Well he maby 38 but hes still one of my favourite boxers id just like to ask use who you want to see him fight, i personally want to see him go into the ring with Bernard Hopkins once again maby get a fight against Joe Calzaghe ive been waiting for so long to see Joe get a decent opponent i know for sure that if Jones was in his prime he'd slaughter Joe but this still would be a great fight Joe is 36 and Jones is 38 so their isnt really that big of a age diffrence i deffinetly wont expect the fight if it does happen to take place in britian Frank Warren is too much of a cheapskate.

He's garbage, ducked Hopkins for the entirety of his championship run, and never fought a decent fighter until Tarver.

I hope he gets knocked out again.

kinda funny how as soon as he starts fighting good fighters he loses.  even when he went up to heavyweight he fought a bum and then ran away.  he's all about himself and himself being famous.  the only reason he would come back is because he got his ass kicked his last few fights so he wants to try and clear his name.

he was one of the most talented boxers ever, so damn fast for his size, i can understand mayweather being fast cus hes a little dude, but jones even moved up to heavywweight and he was still fast as hell and accurate as hell. he just never learned to use the jab correctly and defend when he had to, and that is the downfall of many boxers. that and the fact that he just got old, i mean i knew he was old but 38 !!!

he never dodged people like mayweather is dodging people, i have no respect for mayweather, call himself the best pound for pound but who has he fought ? an aged and past his prime de la hoya(and mayweather ran the whole time in that fight) and nobody else. mayweather is junk, now he says he wants to retire, after fighting nobodies your whole life he wanna retire just cause hes undefeated and is scared to lose ? mayweather is crap and nobody in boxing has respect for him, he thinks he will retire and be thought of as the Ali of his weight class

LOL! Hell yeah. the worst heavyweight champion in boxing history. And you can combine that with that stellar list of great opponents he fought prior to that (ha ha). That guy is the most overated fighter of my lifetime. I don't care what weight class you are in, a great fighter will move up or down to find that career defining fight. Hell i hate mayweather, but he moved up nearly 20 lbs to fight one of the bigger names of his generation. Roy Jones never fought a sole. His best victory was james toney, come on, james toney. He fought Hopkins at the early and raw stage of his career so he doesn't count. He has ducked hopkins for this entire decade cause he knew he'd lose. The guy is a joke. period.

Wow Maywhether dodging? Who has Jones fought Tony, Tarver and Hopkins those are the best people he has faught in over 50 fights come on. Maywhether has wanted to fight De La Hoya for years he has faught Judah, Castillo, Corrales, Mitchel, (Julio) Chavez and De La Hoya. Those are three more superstars that Jones in twelve less fights and he hasnt lost any of them. I like Jones but to discredit Maywhether by saying he dodges more is ridicuous. Jones has always been known to dodge period.

Well yes he is abit on the old side but i dont really expect him to be fighting all the youngsters so it shouldnt matter that much he will obviously be boxing good in the opening rounds when he gets in the ring he just needs to be even more careful than ever about how he uses his energyif he decides to get into the ring again withB-hop, Hopkins is Obviously going to be at an advantage depending on how Roy decides to fight i dont think he will be dancing around the ring like use to lol but its still nice to see a good boxer get couple more fights in.

Mayweather pfffffffffff that is arrogant and yes i totally agree he only fights people when they are not at their best he isnt the only boxer like that though the sport of Boxing could really do with another Sugar Ray Leonard/Robinson
