OMG... they had such a tough time with atlanta..
atlanta was the last place seed(4th) in the eastern conference and they SWEPT washington(#1seed) and new york(#2 seed)
they did it with their energy and toughness...simply out hussling both teams to loose balls..
all this was sparked by the fiesty play of angel mcaughtry.
seattle had the best record in the west... in fact remained undefeated at home all the way to the trophy... only losing 6 games in the ENTIRE season.
when the dream and storm finally met..it was a huge load for the storm to handle...definitely their biggest challange all year.. the dream would just not quit!
angel mcaughtry played AWFUL the first 2 loses..FORCING shots..choke central.. luckily marques kept em in it.. but couldnt quite take the lead from seattle.
Today in game 3.. angel actaully had a good game but the rest of the team did not... MVP laauren jackson was playing bad d and never really shot the ball going like 2 for 5 in the first half... but in the 3rd quarter after being down 6.. swin cash knocked a 3 and lauren stepped up with a 3 point play that sparked the storm on a 18-3 run.. they maintained a 10 point advantage until the final minute when the dream made shots and cut it to 3...
IT WAS HARD but seattle pulled through.
Don't forget the fundamentals. All those exciting layups make it hard to change the channel.

you're from australia?I was semi-interested because Lauren Jackson comes from the same area as I do.

I didnt even know the WNBA season was in session, let alone the Finals were going on. That goes to show people how much they really dont care for women's basketball. The WNBA needs to do more in order for more people to follow their sport.

Yes I am.
I know I'm going to take a lot of heat for saying this but I actually find Lauren Jackson kind of attractive even though she has an abnormally huge nose lol.you're from australia?frostybanana

Of all the WNBA players she's clearly one of the best looking.[QUOTE="flowersjf"][QUOTE="KG86"]I know I'm going to take a lot of heat for saying this but I actually find Lauren Jackson kind of attractive even though she has an abnormally huge nose lol. You're right, I should probably slap myself then.
Watching Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson play basketball is more entertaining than watching Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook play basketball.

i know your probably joking and are talking about their looks but...
i feel the girls play the game with much more effort and heart... the nba is all about EGO's it seems.

But yet the NBA's quality of gameplay is way better.Seriously. Middle schoolers probably play with more heart too, but that doesn't mean they're more fun to watch than an NBA game.

Doesnt mean they are better either. I saw the end of that WNBA game, it was just sloppy basketball. Heart doesnt make up for lack of talent obviously.[QUOTE="Nike_Air"]You obviously didn't watch the FIBA tournament.I sure did. If was awful (U.S.A basketball anyway)Watching Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson play basketball is more entertaining than watching Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook play basketball.

You obviously didn't watch the FIBA tournament.I sure did. If was awful (U.S.A basketball anyway) lol You're from Turkey aren't you? The US team played great, and for a team that not many people expected to win gold did a great job dominating the competition(we only had one 7 footer as well) led by KD who will be the best player in the NBA in a few years.[QUOTE="flowersjf"][QUOTE="Nike_Air"]

So, if there's a WNBA, does that mean theres a SpNBA and a SuNBA for the otherseasons that make up a basketball season?
