So, how is the Jet's offensive line these days...?

Because if they let Favre get butchered like they let Pennington, Favre might go back into retirement by the Bye week...

According to Sports Center's story this morning, "Above Average".

Not hugely reassuring, but better than nothing, I guess.

After adding Faneca, to Ferguson, Mangold and Woody. I'd say it's a pretty good O-line.

Id say its pretty good especially with the addition of Faneca. But the problem is who will Favre throw to. The jets have no playmakers. who will he throw to Lavernius Coles?

If Ferguson can live up to his 4th overall pick billing, it's a dominant left side. Mangold and Faneca are pro bowl caliber players. Woody is good, D'brickshaw is the big question mark.

I mean he can't throw to him every play but I have a feeling that they will be a strong duo this year. I have always been a Jets fan and as of late, the jets have lacked 2 BIG things, a strong o-line which is BETTER, not great but should be good. and then a quaterback. pennington was good but hate to say it, was a little too Fragile, damn guy got hurt ALL THE TIME! i think the jets will be strong this year, in madden 09 and real life. Not predicting play offs but better chance than last couple years that is for sure!

Cotchery has great hands and is also tall and strong. Leon Washington is an exciting player out of the backfield too.

no your wrong, pennington's problem is the long ball, u stick him in a west coast style offence he'll succeed, heck he was comeback player of the year, season before last

trust me pennington can be a solid qb, I used to watch him play every saturday at marshall, course we all had the luxury of having and watching randy moss too
