Ok, I follow baseball, but only the A.L.

The N.L. bores the hell outta me, never have liked the league.

So I know that the Cubs, DBacks, Phillies, and the winner of the playoff between Rockies/Padres are in.

Questions:

1. Do any of these teams have a chance (please don't bring up the Cards from last year)???? They seem like JV teams when compared to the A.L. teams

2. Who do you think will play the Angels in the World Series (I'm an Angels fan, if they can get past the damn Red Sox, they'll be in the W.S guaranteed)???

3. Whose the N.L. MVP (I have no idea, I just know Ryan Howard is good thats it)?

1. I think the Cubs would matchup well with any one of the four AL playoff teams. They have a good lineup full of speed and power and have a nice 1-2 punch with Zambrano and Lilly.

2. The Cubs and for the reasons I said above

3. I would go with Jimmy Rollins, especially when he made that very bold statement going into the season (you know it, "we're the team to beat"). Not only that, but he's a leadoff hitter that leads the league in runs scored. That's impressive...

1. in the playoffs any team can beat another, even one of the weak NL teams

2.a guess, go with the DBacks going on a streak, winning each series in the NL in 7 games

3.NL MVP - Rollins of Phillie or Holliday of Colorado

1. As stated above, it's the playoffs, anything can happen.

2. Hard to say, i'll go with the Rocks if they continue to play like they have, the only team I don't see making it is the Philly's, their pitching is just so meh.

3. Rollins or Holliday

1. NL blows, but with every single sports playoff, anyhting can happen. So, I am not counting out anyone.

2. Philies or Rockies

3. Rollins, a 20+ HR, 20 Triple, 20+ double, 40+ SB season is hard to ignore.

The AL bores the hell out of me because the playoffs were decided like a month ago, where as the entire NL went down to the last day of the season.
