TCU might have made for a better game come january.
i was disappointed in Florida and Texas this year.
I dont even watch college football cause the ammount of mistakes i see per game just disgusts me, but i saw the last 2 minutes of the Texax game, and Colt Mccoy is an idiot, and i was hoping the refs would actually have said there was no more time on the clock. Either way Bama is gonna win based on my indepth analysis of them by watching sportscenter.
They certainly don't deserve it. TCU should play for the championship. As it is, we get to see Bama crush Texas and TCU maul Boise State. Nobody wins there IMO.

Hilarious. Don't deserve it? Went undefeated in the Big 12 not the Mountain West. Get real.
Just like Bama was going to crush the Utes huh? They certainly don't deserve it. TCU should play for the championship. As it is, we get to see Bama crush Texas and TCU maul Boise State. Nobody wins there IMO.

Bama will crush Texas because Texas are not that good. And the point I am making is that TCU should play Bama. Thats the better match-up. Boise vs. Texas is a more even game, and I would say Cincinnati deserve a title shot more than Texas. This is just the BCS at work, which always seems to suck. It takes all the fun out of the Bowl games because they don't let these teams prove themselves against real compettition.
As for Texas going undefeated in the big 12, so what? The Big 12 was not significantly better than the Mountian West this year anyway.TCU also had more wins against ranked teams. And remember: TCU beat BYU, who murdered Oklahoma. The same Oklahoma team that Texas had to limp to the finish line against. Alabama would likely beat TCU as well, but that does not mean they should not be the ones going to Pasadena.

Beating Oklahoma by one point is murdering them? And when Sam Bradford went down? Please.
And Texas played the 44th toughest schedule in the country. TCU played the 84th toughest schedule. Texas' opoonents also had a higher winning percentage than TCU's. The only argument you can make is that both teams were undefeated, and in this case I think the tiebreaker goes to Texas.

I beileve Florida St. murdered BYU, that was 26 points and in BYU's backyard.[QUOTE="heysharpshooter"]

Lmao, that dude is hilarious. A muder? Hahahahaha! Texas murdered OU too according to him, winning by 3. Oh and I'm sick of this guy making false statements such as "TCU played against more ranked opponents!" No, they didn't. TCU played two ranked opponents, Texas played two. Ok, ok, let's use this dude's logic. Texas owned Okie State who owned Georgia who beat Georgia Tech who won the ACC over Clemson who TCU barely beat by 4. Therefore, Texas>TCU.I'm gonna love watching Mcconaughy crying on the sidelines when they get demolished this time. X360PS3AMD05Like when Texas was gonna get demolished by USC in '05? The best team in college history...or so they thought. Just like 'Bama was gonna demolish Utah last year too? Yeah..
That bama team wasn't playing in the title game and didn't come off crushing Florida. There's no Vince Young and they barely escaped Nebraska, i can't imagine what that bama D will do to McCoy. X360PS3AMD05That's great, Bama barely escaped Tennessee and Auburn. Auburn shut down Ingram, imagine what Texas D will do to him.

Either way, even it is the best conference that doesn't mean every team in the conference is great. Auburn's defense this year was garbage dude and Ingram got shutdown. Guess who has the best rushing defense in the nation? Oh, Texas. If Alabama doesn't get the run going, they won't be putting up big points. At least Nebraska is a top defense in the nation with a heisman canidate on that defense. It's not like Texas was playing against complete trash as it seems you are implying. I have no idea who will win this thing, but I really doubt either team will be blowing the other out.

I agree. TCU just seems more complete than Texas. Oh well. I do think 'Bama is going to stomp Texas seeing as McCoy has really struggled against good defenses.

Teams like TCU and Boise State can't strengthen their schedule because no one will play them. People say SEC or Big 12 teams shouldn't play Boise because it's not worth it, yet bring up SOS in every argument. It's not their fault they have a weaker SOS on the basis of a weaker conference.[QUOTE="Espurs117"][QUOTE="TaCoDuDe"]
