Ah. The infamous 3-0 hole.

That is all that needs to be said.

This series is well from over, the Cavs have no chance of making a come back, Spurs are the clear winners.

I'm not throwing in the towel as a fan until the series is over and the Spurs have 4 Ws. Everyone said the Red Sox chances were over in baseball in '05. Look what happened there. :)

'04. Comebacks like that are extremely rare. And the Cavs are hopelessly outmatched, let's stop pretending they aren't.

Sports history is being made all the time. When the Steelers went into the Playoffs in 05 and fought their way to the Super Bowl as the only 6th seed in history to do so, they were given no chance of making it the SB, matter less winning it when they got there. Until the door actually closes, there's no winner. This is why it takes at least 4 games to end a series. They leave room for 7 games on the off chance the unreachable can somehow manage to be reached. Not so they can play 3 games and prematurely declare a winner.

Take out the fanboy blinders, the Sox and Yankees were equally matched in 04', the Cavaliers are clearly playing a superior team from a superior conference.

At least he's a die hard fan--I'll have to give him that. :) But yea, it's really over. I can't imagine what the ratings will be for the final game--who's gonna watch now that it seems like there's no competition whatsoever?

Wow and people said Detroit vs. Spurs would be boring. I think SA will lose the next game just so they can finish at home.

The Spurs would have to lose the next two games to finish it at home because in the NBA Finals, a team like the Cavs gets to play 3 straight at home.

i think Spurs will lose in game 4 and take it in game 5, but Duncan said in an interview that they will try to finish it in 4...

Now if only they'd let you go into their locker room and give that speech.

Well you can tell if a team has a chance to make a comeback from down 3-0 like the Bulls could have done it against the Pistons in the second round but the Spurs are just too good to lose 4 straight games in the Finals. I think Pop would kill his players if they did that.

If the Cavs have a miricle comeback, there'll be some celebrating, actually a lot, but one thought that will be in everyone's mind is "What happened to the Spurs?" Cleveland is just unexperienced in the finals, while the Spurs aren't.

They should have just gone ahead and given the spurs the trophy after they beat the suns in the 2nd round.

I glade that the Spurs are one win away from sweeping the Cavs. Tim is MVP for the 4th time unless Tony Parker wins it.

Was everybody whining like this when the bulls were winning all the time? Or the lakers?
