Spurs did a great job beating the Cavs and keeping James in check last night.

I know the topic is about the Spurs being a successful yet boring team. It seems to transcend past the team. Not to be mean or anything but did anyone realize just how boring the Public Announcer was when he introduced the teams? No energy, no excitement, similar to the "boring" Spurs game. I just kept saying to myself, "Just shut up and just let them start the game already." Why is Hughes even playing if he isn't 100%. He has no reason to be out there because he can't keep up with Parker.

It was a great basketball game, I know most people don't really care about the actual game, but it was great. I do think all the people wanting more excitement will get theirs in this series, because clearly LeBron wasn't playing allout yet, but he'll step it up soon enough, I do think the Cavs should play Gibson more, he's showing signs he's ready to be a starter(it would be good to rest Hughes), he scores, he plays solid D and he's got swagger, he's not intimmidated by the Spurs at all.

I think they play great basketball, not nearly as exciting as Phoenix, but still entertaining.

The Spurs played brilliantly last night.

Their gameplay is starting to grow on me. The Cavs are done in my opinion. As much as I like for them to take it, I am being realistic to accept the fact that the Spurs are just too skilled for them.

I was just about to say that! They are the Buffalo Bills of the NBA only they haven't reach the finals the past few years.

Spurs are boring because they don't score many points and don't allow their opponents to score many points? Man, you people must hate hockey, baseball, soccer, etc.

completely off topic but with the lower ratings of the nbs finals as compared to past finals I can say this with a great deal of hope, one day Soccer will surpass the NBA as a popular sport in teh United States. First we have to tackle Hockey then basketball.
