Suspended during the play-offs? Unless someone gets shanked you wont see that happening.
Did you just become a sports fan in the last 8 months? Do you not remember LAST year?

I'm saying you have to do something extremly bad for it to happen. Never said it doesn't happen.

that was last year buddy, i'm pretty sure it won't happen again
[QUOTE="andyboiii"]that was one of the best playoffs game i've seen in awhileKoFoNiO
agreed and it was only game 1. when nash hit that 3 to tie it at 115 i jumped out of my seat. this is definitely going 7, but i have the suns winning it on the spurs homecourt.
I thoguht that was gonna be another OT. Cant beleive they let him drive with no opposition.
Is Dantoni the dumbest coach in NBA history? Seriously, they should've fouled Manu before he gave it to a wide open Duncan at the end of OT - basically this means the Suns would've won the game. Then Amare was making dumb decisions...
The Suns are not a Championship caliber team.
I thoguht that was gonna be another OT. Cant beleive they let him drive with no opposition.Just_OsmoTell me about it.
I was wondering wtf they were doing letting them basicly run an isolation for ginobli.
This is why the Spurs win Championships. They're so freaking mentally tough come playoff time.Dutch_Mix
So why can't they ever win consecutive championships?
you know i always thought that the reason the suns would never win a championship was cause of their style of play, no size, to perimeter oriented, and no defense. But none of that is the reason. I finally realized after the last 3 years why they won't win. Amare Stoudamire can NOT stay out of foul trouble. This guy picks up fouls like there's no tomorrow. Look at Duncan. In big games he never gets in foul trouble, and if he does he knows how to play with them. Half of Stoudamire's fouls are offensive at that. He is too good to not be reliable and he just isn't. Unless this changes they will never win a title, but they will be the Spurs. I wasn't impressed at all. It took the hack a shaq, Duncan making a 3, etc. for them to eek this one out at home. I think the suns got them this year but Amare has to learn how to control himself. He is letting his team down. Nobody in the league can guard him, unless he's not on the floorsixringz1lol. Yeah it took hack a shaq and a Duncan 3. Did you forget that the Suns had a 16 point lead and the Spurs didn't make a basket the first 7 minutes of the game? Raja Bell, Amare, Nash were making everything they threw up. I was impressed with the offense and defense of the Suns. I was. AND THEY STILL LOST.

So why can't they ever win consecutive championships?
Let's see. Spurs win in 1999. in 2000 Duncan goes down with an ankle injury. Spurs win in 2003 but lose in 2004 because of a Derek Fisher shot that shouldn't have counted. Spurs win in 2005 but lose in 2006 to the Mavs in game 7 due to a bad ref call. That's why they haven't won consecutive championships.[QUOTE="Correyov31"][QUOTE="Dutch_Mix"]This is why the Spurs win Championships. In 2000 Duncan might have been their best player but one person doesnt win championships teams do. In 2004 that shot counted, but the Spurs were losing 3-2, they could've still won the series but they didn't. In 2006 they simply got outplayed by a team that wanted it more, where exactly was the bad ref call? If they don't win this year then there are no excuses. And this is coming from a Mavs fan whose team loses every year, not because of excuses but because they get outplayed in the playoffs, for example today against the hornets.

FAIL. When you are missing your best player you can't win championships. I don't think the bulls could have won without Michael Jordan or Lakers without Shaq. 2004, it's not possible to catch an inbound pass, turn around, pull up and shoot in .4 seconds, less than half a second. And the series was tied 2-2. OH YOUR A MAVS FAN! Now I see where you are coming from. I'm sorry your best player is one of the softest in the league, right up there with Steve Nash. Which is why those two will never win a title. I really am sorry. I think Jason Kidd deserves a title but Dirk is just a joke.[QUOTE="WootyWoot"]Bunch of actors on the Spurs bench.

And so it begins. The suns fans crying again. This early huh?
At least they are not crying the Spurs are dirty. That was kind of stupid. And I don't think I saw Ginobili take a single charge. I think Bell and Nash had what? A combined 10 flops?[QUOTE="Correyov31"][QUOTE="Dutch_Mix"]This is why the Spurs win Championships. They're so freaking mentally tough come playoff time.LessThanMarcus

They always change a good amount of their lineup and it is hard to win championships when you do that. The players have to develop chemisty. And if you look at the D. Fish replay the shot did count. I remember it like it was yesterday. :) Not to mention that was in game 4 or 5. How does tieing up a series win it. If anything it just evened the playing field.

LMAO indeed. All Suns fans do is cry and whine. Who can forget how they cried for weeks last season:lol:
The Suns won't win the series. The Spurs are too good.

And in 2004 after Fisher made that shot, the series was 3-2 not 2-2, that was game 5.
by the way, Timmy loves it when his fans cry...

I looked at the replay plenty of times. The clock started moving after Fisher turned his body.
Either way, are people actually trying to criticize the Spurs over NOT winning championships? They have more championships than any team in the NBA in the last 9 years. In fact, the entire league combined has 5. The Spurs have 4. Lol at people actually trying to say "its hard to win championships" about the Spurs.
Suns fans are already doing the same thing they did last year.
IT'S TEH REFZZ! OMG GINOBILI FLOPPAGE! ROBERT HORRY MORE LIKE ROBERT WHORRY!
well looks like the suns will take game 4, great game from them.
Hopefully they can win the next one and keep the series going.
I always prefer when playoff series go 6 or 7 games
kozzy1234
No way, this is the "We are to proud to get sweep" win. The Spurs will finish them in game 5.
The Suns finally show up. Where was this intensity in the games 2 and 3, I can finally call this series a series now. This was the complete opposite of game 3, the Suns were making all the right plays and they finally changed their defensive set, while the Spurs came out flat and became a jump shooting team. That being said, I still think this win came to late for the suns. The Spurs as i recall are the defending champs and is a veteran team and certainly capable of ending the series right on their own floor. The only thing thats positive about the Suns situation right now is their momentum but i doubt it will carry through game 5.
