I was completely shocked

Of all the teams in the NFL I had Buffalo last on the list that would take on T.O.

Knowledge is power!

UPDATO!

He's a Buffalo Bill

Oh my Lord, I see nothing but bad things ahead

He'll meet the media at 6:15, probably be on ESPNEWS

More knowledge means even MORE power!

Owens and Evans would be really good. But if TO didn't think Romo or McNabb was good enough, what the hell is he going to think of Trent Edwards?

TO never said anything bad about Romo he actually was crying for him...huh? I was a TO fan while he was in Dallas and supported him, he did turn a leaf and wish he could've stayed longer with Dallas. But come on...the Bills? I thought he was wanting a Superbowl ring, so he goes to Buffalo...thats hilarious. It confuses the hell outta me though. At least his other teams could get him the ball, Trent Edwards thats hysterical.

Wow what a terrible decision. For the Bills AND Owens. Owens will ruin what little chemistry that team had, and then blow up when he realizes he has nobody to throw him the ball. The Bills just wasted 6.5 million on the one thing they didn't need, a great wide receiver. This will be ugly.

Owens and Evans could be a lethal combination if the Bills had a QB. O well.

Is Edwards really that bad? I know he had a dip in his play last season, but I thought he was playing rather well before that, at least much better than Lossman. Also I remember Walsh had a good opinion on the guy during his time at Stanford, so he can't be complete garbage. As a whole though, I don't think the Bills are going to make noise in the playoffs (assuming they get there), but you never know I guess.

No, he's not and I think the people here giving himdue credit. Edwards is one of my favorite up & comers.

This is the year Edwards breaks out imo. He has Owens, T.O and Lynch to help him out. It is time for him to have his breakout party.

I could have had 20 guesses and the Bills would not have been one of them.

Trent Edwards is not a bad QB, but this is a wrong move by the Bills. While he's not a bad QB I just don't think he has the mentality to deal with TO if things go bad.

Well, a very odd signing. Soemthing I could not see coming.

With this signing, I can see the Bills getting a win against the Pats with T.O doing all the work. :P

But it will be ugly if Edwards gets hurt again, poor Fitzpatrick. :?

I don't think Darth Bill would change his defensive gameplan just because TO is in the division.

This is actually a nice surprise. I don't care about TO, but this time of year the NFL is way boring with all the hot air that gets spewed about the draft (it is a crap shoot) and such.

I don't see how this will hurt them. They aren't good so maybe if things go well they can sneak into the playoffs. Buffalo is one of those cities where everyone knows everything about everyone else so it won't be easy for him to pull off nonsense. On top of that this is probably the most interesting thing to happen to the Bills since Doug Flutie played for them.

Look, TO is immature and selfish, but he's not stupid. He alreasy knows that he's joining a weak team with a new QB. He's not going to be complaining about his team, at least for a year.

Anyone who never thought this a possibility just does not know the NFL or does not know anything outside of their teams news. When he was released I said he'll either be with the Raiders, Bills, Vikings or Bears. When you go to Buffalo, you go to play football, plain and simple. I grew up a Bills fan an hour out of Buffalo. The fans are rabid, the players are tough, its old school football at its best. Hopefully this signing proves a good one

I'm wondering how the fans in Buffalo are going to treat TO. Would they tolerate any sort of shenanigans, or even a hint of one from him.

the players are toughshadow8585

You've had a disconnect

The players practiced inside last season so they wouldn't be exposed to the elements.

The weather bothered them just as much as it did the opposition for the second half of the season.

ESPN doesn't know anything about the NFL? Seems kind of like you just picked your favourite team and said TO was going there without any real reasoning.

He's always on his best behavior during the first year. The only risk for Buffalo is Owens' age (he's now on the wrong side of 35).

That's a relief. I'm just glad he didn't end up with the Titans or Redskins.

This isn't the first time that Buffalo has signed a player that has been allegedly suspect in the locker room. Lawyer Milloy was cut from New England for being a locker room disturbance and Buffalo jumped on him as well. I want to kow who thinks Trent Edwards will be the opening day starter. I've been a Bills fan for a long time and we need a franchise quarterback. We haven't had one since Jim Kelly. Mind you Doug Flutie was good, just 5 years too late. What about a Leinart or Quinn, assuming Cleveland doesn't give him the starting job. Or Vince Young? Or is Trent Edward the guy?
