Please don't get 2k7.You have a 360 right. Well the framerate for the game is bad and the field is still as atrocious as past years. All I do in that game is hit bombs. It's just not a good game. Looks freakin' amazing, but plays like crap. You will regret it I'm sure. Get BIGS I guess, orI would just rent and then make a decision based on that, possibly save yourself some cash.MikeE21286I played MLB 2K7 and have yet to see or notice a glitch to even effect my games and for your Homerun trouble how bout fixing the sliders:|

c'mon, I'm not gonna argue about the framerate hell I don't even have too. All you gotta do is read the reviews on Gamespot, or IGN, or any other website, and you may like the fielding I do not know, but I think it's god awful. The best way for him to find out would be rent it IMO. It's a hit or miss game, look.....you like it, I hate it...hit or miss.
And c'mon, you gotta agree with me on this though, how many freakin' times have you been robbed of HRs. I swear when I was playing that demo on XBL and the regular game also, Juan Encarnacion, Jim Edmonds, etc, must have robbed me 100 times (not literally but you get where I'm going). It happens multiple times during games too. It's comical
[QUOTE="SuperVegeta518"]MLB 07 the show. Even if it's the PS2 or PSP version.murlow12Again, that is not an option. I don't own a sony system, nor will I ever.
A fanboy I am not. I have a 360 and Wii, so what does that make me? I just refuse to pay that much for a PS3, and I also refuse to buy an obselete system (PS2) for one game.
As for the player ratings, are you kidding? Cliff Floyd is rated 100 overall, or just in 1 category?
Liking the 360 and Wii makes you a shemming. I support all systems which makes me a manticore. Anyway, Cliff Floyd is 100 overall. I guess you could just spend hours lowering ratings. That'd be fun.Scalien26I'm not into those immature labels. I just appreciate quality and value.

Grow up, this isn't system wars.
If your 360 is online you can try out the demo for MLB 2k7. I wasn't too thrilled with it, especially the fielding mechanics, but then again I haven't really gotten into a baseball game since World Series Baseball was good.
The Bigs looks like some mindless fun, but do you want the NBA Jam version of the sport or a real (flawed) simulation?
The only way you'll get quality is if you get The Show. But if I had to choose, I'd go with 2K7 and spend the day making everybody worse.Scalien26
agreed. i'm more into the realistic, but 2k7 has some issues to deal with.
MLB 2k7 is actually a good game
Only problem i have with it it seems every hit you get is a HR, and there never seems to be a groundball out. It lasted me a long time with sliders....now with the best sliders possible for me and the hardest difficutly, its too easy, I win games like 22 to 6.....
Even though it has some huge problems (HR's all the time, no groundball outs ever, seems the computer is making a miraculous play every single time etc.) for a while it was my favorite baseball game ever...now that i realize some of its gameplay problems Im gonna put it behind MVP, but still A LOT better than the Bigs...Bigs isnt even a real baseball game...
and the graphics are UNBELIEVABLE, best i have ever seen. The graphics alone made me enjoy 2 or 3 games out of the ones i played..
Who says that you have to buy either games? IMO publishers are deliberately releasing bad sports game on next gen platforms so that they can claim improvements when they release the same product again in the next year with minimum tweaking. For God sake they've all but perfected the gameplay all they needed to do was transition that unto a next gen platform, but what profit will there be when they've released a game that is so good that people can go years without ever need to buy another version just for a roster update. I wish that gamers would pool their money together and say no to developers that take advantage of them. There is no excuse fo rreleasing games like MLB 2k7 and the bigs with shoddy graphics and even shoddier gameplay. If you want to stick it to these arrogant asses sell your xbox360 all of your games and put the money in the bank for a time when they release satisfactory products. The game industry has no respect for its consumers, thank god I am not buying into their fecal matters this generation. numismaticYou forget that hardcore sports fans WILL buy the games every year just for the roster updates. Even if a baseball game was "perfect" I would still buy the updated version for updated rosters. That's just the nature of being a fan.
After reading all of the commets I think I will probably skip both games. I'm having baseball withdrawals, but maybe waiting for MLB 2K8 is the way to go. Hopefully 2K fixes some of the issues so they have something to be proud of next year. Only about 8 months until the next edition...
