The bears will still be the same type of defense when riveras gone. Its lovies defense and Turners offense. The bears will be that dominating defense they once were earlier in the season when they were blowing out everyone when they get Tommie Harris and Mike Brown back. Besides Michael Haynes the bears have done a real good gob in the Draft. Get Meachem, Muhammads getting old and Berrian is to skinny to last.
To tell you the truth I don't know why they fired Schottenheimer in the first place (yes he has a bad rep in the playoffs but he's untouchable in the regular season), well Chargers fans better hope that Norv Turner duplicates Schottenheimer's success plus making success in the playoffs.
The Chargers are rightly the joke of the off-season. Waiting to can Marty while all their assistants took other coaching jobs, and now bringing in Norv Turner over Mike Singletary or Ron Rivera? Any coach should be able to do well with the Chargers' talent, but Norv has a proven record of failure.
Both teams are screwed. Seriously Norv get the hell out, you're no better than Nick Saban. First he says he wants to be here for a long time, then we offer him a raise not to interview for the Cowboys, then we give it to him anyway after he's denied the job, and now he leaves anyway. I feel sorry for Alex, it's not fair for this kid to have to a learn from a third new coordinator in three years. Also Gore was calling him all the time hoping he wouldn't leave either. Man there is just no loyalty in sports anymore.

I agree. I actually wanted them to pick Mike Singletary or Rex Ryan. Norv is a proven loser and I hope that the Chargers can keep their winning ways even with him at the helm...
