I think the Giants will miss the playoffs. Considering that it's the Giants, Saints, and Vikings still in the running, I think the Vikings and the Saints will have a better chance of making the wild card. The Giants are no way winning the last game (vs. PATS) and their 15th game is going to be against Buffalo---not an easy team to beat in their home, and with the weather. AwwSchucks Manning will miss this year's playoffs.

Manning hasn't missed playoff in a year he fully started yet. I'm pretty confident it won't happen this year. But it can happen.

6-1 on the road going into Bufalo, good chance to win that which will be 10th win and probaly enough for the playoffs. And seattle and tampa in the 1st round arent that strong either.

I think they will make it. I doubt the Saints will win out, and I do think the Giants can beat Buffalo.

They'll make it, but lose in first round so it doesn't really matter.

The division they are in nine wins is all it takes to guarantee a playoff appearance.... notice the word appearance... they won't go past the first round. But if the Redskins pull something off then they might take the Giants' spot.

I'll make a prediction: Eli has a good game and they win. In this board, saying that brands me a eli fanboy b/c I said something good about him, but I think the last two games, the playcalling has finally started being a little aggressive and they're calling plays that Manning runs well, shotgun, PA etc.

Hell if you wanna say something bad about the team lay off eli and start talking about the recievers and their slippery hands. I've never seen so many dropped balls before. Dropped balls on GOOD THROWS!

I think you're going to miss the playoffs. I'll see your aw shucks Manning and raise you baby eater Michael Strahan. NY Football Giants will not only make the playoffs, they will shock America and take the whole enchilada. It will be delicious.

I think they'll make it, they're in too good a position to miss now even with injuries and such.

I'll also agree with the notion that you can't knock Manning without knocking those receivers at the same time. Blame goes all around there.

I don't blame the entire fallout of giants losses on Eli--but most of them are his fault. His offensive co. should be fired since theymamke Eli throw somuch. They should take a page out of Pittsburgh and how they made Ben throw under 20-25 times and used the running game more often. The Giants don't utilize the running game and make Eli throw so many times--too many times. With this weekend's game at Buffalo and with Everet theiradding an emotional high, it'll be a tough game. We all know that the Giants last game is a definate loss, so this Sunday's game really is the Giants playoff game.

I don't see Bellicheck not starting them and I can't see why the players wouldn't want to start since they'll be going for the perfect regular season. Now they may pull them out once in the 4th quarter unlike other games the PATS play, but once it's pretty much over, I am sure the starters will be pulled out.

Yea I don't see Bellichick not starting them either, but who knows? Maybe some guys get hurt against the Dolphins, a meaningless game and Bellichick gets scared and rests them the following week. Or maybe Brady takes some good licks and Bellichick doesn't risk him against the Giants pass rush.

I could really see him not starting Brady, or at least start him but sit him after the first series. He's one guy you don't have to worry about being rusty in the playoffs, so you can afford to rest him.

This is of course if he has the record already.

You sure about that last game? Their Defensive Line is beastly, if they keep sacking Brady, then the Patriots could lose. The Giants have been drafting defensive linemen nonstop and it's been paying off many times.

Please. Brady has only been sacked 17 times. 17 times in 14 games. Thats an Average of 1.2 Sacks per game. I can only see the Giants getting to him 2 times at themost. Bradys O-Line is better then the Giants D-Line is.

I'm a little surprised by the NFC Wild Card running this year, there'e quite a few teams that could take it.

But the Giants? They have a chance. I'll wait and see.

Well the Giants gotta play AT Buffalo tomorrow, And lets just say...IF they lose and The Vikings beat the Redskins tomorrow
Since the Vikings own the tie breaker, Vikes would move to 5th seed, and Giants would move to 6th. So if the Vikings win out, Saints win out, and Giants lose out... Giants are out of the playoffs, its a slim chance that will happen, but we'll see things more clearly after tomorrow.

Well, they won, they're in.

And about the Patriot game, no one should care about that. Giants should only care about getting their team healthy for the playoffs.

Besides, Belliechek said he only cares about the Super Bowl. Even if they lose, the Patriots aren't going to be too upset.

Giants defense and running game looked fantastic today. Passing was average but the conditions were horrible. Playoff team 3 years and running...

How many threads like this have been created since the football season started? You would think that after the many failed threads predicting a team's fate/result in a game (countless threads were made about the Pats), I thought that many of you would learn by now. Giants won and are in the playoffs.

Anyway, now it's a crap shoot as to whichtwo teamswill make the two finalspots for both conferences. Titans have a great chance to take it. And Washington has momentum to surprisingly claim the last spot in the NFC. But hey, you won't see me make threads about them. Lol!

1 more game for the Pats to get the perfect season. It'll be interesting to see how they play the Giants next week.

Well, i didn't think the Giants would win. They are lucky that it started to snow and rain---cause Aw schucks manning didn't have to throw any more INTs and they realized that they had a running game to go to instead.

Looking more and more like it will be a rematch, I can't wait. If the pack play like they did against Seattle, you can guarentee we'll see you guys in the Super Bowl. I'm so freakin excited...but after the two upsets today, I'm reserving my true excitement till after next week.

The giants D was impressive as hell today. That D line dominated Dallas.

No bumping old threads so you can gloat. Next thing you know people will be bumping threads to show they were right and bla bla bla. Not good.
