The off-season started when the draft did. The free agency is open year round. Around the first 2 weeks is the most interesting part of the Free Agency. http://www.nba.com/freeagents/2015/
It looks like Whiteside is involved in the summer league.
Wow, a lot of free agent moves, and the Trail Blazer practically lost the entire team..... Time for rebuild mode for them
@PSP107: I don't know, I blame Gar/Pax.... I'm already afraid of the Bucks as how scary their team looks
I like what my Knicks have been doing (mostly). Kristaps Porzingis, Afflalo on a short deal, a rim protector in Lopez and some upside with O'Quinn. Derrick Williams? Yikes. Plus I still don't if we are rebuilding or trying to win some games. Carmelo feels out of place.
@EPICCOMMANDER"The Spurs' acquisitions are nice, but I still think next year for the Spurs hinges on Kawhi Leonard finishing more consistently. He can't have a performance like he did in those last three games against the clippers where he shot under 30% ever again."
How will they rotate the lineup during the regular season? Duncan most likely will play 20 mins a game and take some games off. Aldridge doesn't want to play the 5 and I don't think David West can guard 5s.

As far as minutes between the 4 and 5 you have:
Of those, Duncan is the only player who could guard any center. David West can easily play center against the less weighty forwards, but that's only a small percentage of teams. Boris Diaw will almost certainly be traded to free cap space, with David West essentially taking his job for less, and then they will almost certainly come out of nowhere and swipe Brendan Haywood away from the Cavs. The Spurs also drafted the 7-footer Nikola Milutinov from Serbia who will most likely develop into an astonishingly good player because...it's the spurs.
Heat have a legit shot at the ECF this year assuming everyone is healthy.
I think the Heat has a shot getting a new head coach assuming that Spoelstra doesn't make it to the post season

They seem decent, let's see if they can make it to the 8th seed. I still think Phil Jackson is waiting on acquiring a new face of the franchise, replacing Carmelo when his contract is up (or he opts out in the future).
@FireEmblem_Man:
Bobby Portis 23pts, 3/4 from 3pt range 7 rebounds.
Doug McDermott 20 pts 5 rebounds
Fred Hoiberg 1-0 in his Bulls coaching debut.
Where did you get that 1-0 for Hoiberg's coaching debut?
Edit: Oh, Summer League
@FireEmblem_Man:
Not just Summer League, it was pretty much his coaching debut. I caught the end of the game and that Portis's faced looked like its game 7 of the NBA Finals.
Well at least it's a way for Hoiberg to get to know his players traits.

Yeah they got destroyed.
Becky Hammon is 1-1. Do you see her getting a head coaching gig in the next 5-10 years?

They should be fine.

Derrick Rose is charged under Rape allegations from an ex-girlfriend. She claims that Rose tried to force her to masturbate a front of friends and drugged her. This isn't the third time Rose was charged by the same girl, only problem is she tried using 3 different lawyers and then used TMZ as a last resort to get her "Story" in public. Now this is under a Civil Lawsuit and she's suing Rose for Millions of Dollars.
Wow, talk about obvious frivolous lawsuit here!
@PSP107 Do you think this smells desperate attempt to extort an athlete for money?
@FireEmblem_Man: "Do you think this smells desperate attempt to extort an athlete for money?"
After you pointed out she made 3 previous attempts, it sounds more like she is after money and obviously lying. From the link you posted, it says she dont want jail time for Rose therefore only filing a civil suit.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if Rose or Patrick Kane is found quilty.

The thing is, she waited 2 yrs for this and has no evidence to back up her claims other than what she remembers. I actually read the entire document, it makes Rose look like he's always hungry for sex all the time and how sexually abusive he really is. I highly doubt that he drugged her just for him and his friends to gang bang, especially when his knees are weak :P
Hahaha, the Spurs, Cavs and even the CLIPPERS are all being projected to do better than the defending champions this year. Casually ignoring one of the most dominant single-seasons for a team in NBA history, I see you mainstream sports hype beast media.
Just chalk it up to luck again when the Warriors repeat.
@FireEmblem_Man:
Noah off the bench?
I'm hoping he will improve this year, but I don't want to get my hopes up....
What a great victory for the Bulls!
Well done. Your team beat the Cavs.
It's only the beginning! The Bulls still have a lot to prove this season with a new head coach.

I know that but its a great start.
Steph Curry is playing like he belongs among the Elite! Who is that annoying Lakers fan that doesn't like him?
@PSP107:I hated how TNT said how the Bulls don't look intimidating, yes, Coach Thibs brought a lot of great defensive plays but he failed to lead the team in offense and didn't trust our young players as much as he trusted the veterans which was a red flag. Golden State didn't look threatening last year, but they won a championship, neither did the Atlanta Hawks but they had the best record in the NBA East as well as the top seed. Welp, its up for the Bulls to have a deep playoff run and maybe win the Finals in order to prove these analyst wrong.
@LostProphetFLCL: I'm liking what Detroit has right now. Last year, Van Gundy was just trying to mold a better team lineup for years to come and I think he has it now. Drummond is an All-Star and has potential to be an elite caliber player, he obviously fits in Van Gundy's system. They just need a few holes to fill before looking like a contender team, but they can still fight for a playoff berth. It's looking like the Central division will be more competitive with not only the Bulls and Cavs, but also the Bucks which are a very young and talented team and I won't count out the Pacers just yet.
@FireEmblem_Man:
Actually, when Kenny "The Jet" Smith was saying that, I didn't necessarily disagree with him.
The Bulls didn't do anything in the off season to improve their roster while top contenders did.
That's why I said during the Bulls hiring of Fred "The Mayor" Hoiberg that I wouldn't be surprised if Bulls are an 5-8 seeded team.

Well then, I guess the Bulls still have a lot to prove then. Yes, I agree our lineup hasn't changed from last year aside from drafting Bobby Portis (and he didn't play yesterday). We will have to wait and see how this new Hoiberg Offense work against the competition. I'm glad that McDurmott and Snell are looking confident this year.
Am I reading this right? The New York Knicks decimated the young Bucks team?
Yes you are. The Knicks scored 122 points. Looks like they improved more than the Bucks did somehow so far.

One other issue is that Antetoukumpo was serving his game suspension.
