the spurs, rockets, and mavs could very well come back to win their series. but i don't think the l.a. kobes have much of a chance.

The L.A Lakers are hungry for revenge you could see that from the first 3 quarters yesterday and if they can do it for three they WILL do it in 4especially when they get back to L.A

The Lakers are a joke, it's a one man team.

The Lakers just aren't good enough even with Kobe at his best, they're one of the weakest teams in the playoffs along with the Wizards and Magic - they can't beat the Suns this year. And I agree with you on all your other picks, but there seems to be some real parity this season so who knows. I'd be down for some upsets, makes things more exciting.

I think something like 75% of teams that win game 1 of the first round went on to win the series, at least since the NBA returned to a 7 game format. Just some food for thought.

You did say though that everyone who lost the first game in the West would go on to win their series, but Houston won both of the first two games. How about some logical consistency there champ. Btw, you couldn't be more wrong in the case of the Suns. This is not the Lakers team of last year (healthier, hungrier, and seemingly more competent), and this is not last years Suns team either (they now have Amare back, and Barbose and Bell playing with a chip on their shoulders against these Lakers).
