Should had gone to Minn, better upside with that team.mrgabTJ said he wanted to pick the best QB. Who would you rather have? Matt Hasselbeck or Tavaris Jackson/Sage Rosenfels.
I think TJ may regret making this decision instead of going to a team like the Eagles instead. I don't really see TJ as a franchise changing player. He's definitely a great possession receiver which shold help the dropsies in Seattle, but as a go-to guy who can break a game wide open I don't see him as one. It doesn't help that Seattle still has major problems in the offense like a QB which has seen better days and in need of a rushing attack.

Yeah, Minn is only a piece away from being a superbowl contender. I think this move was because he likes the region and is a homer.
TJ is a BIG name receiver...He has great hands...he's 6'1"/6'2"....He has quality speed and is a very good route runner. The last time the seahawks had a tall go to guy was in 05' with Jurevicous and I wouldnt consider him "BIG NAME" but just his height and hands alone he led the team with 10 TDS and we went to the Superbowl...Hasselbeck is a great short/medium range accurate QB so TJ is going to rack up some TDS in the redzone. and actually Seahawks running game was not that bad last year. with a Healthy offensive line and the focus being more on a lot of our passing game expect our running to improve.
just FYI rumor is if the Seahawks do take on Crabtree still at #4 pick he would be our #2 receiver and Deion Branch would be released. But Housh, Crabtree, Burleson, and re-sign Engram is probably still a top 3 receiver core in the NFL. There's also speculation we might not resing engram and maybe go after someone like Holt...but honestly Engram is going to get resigned he is Hasselbecks favorite receiver and is a confident holder for him in 3rd down situations. We will hold onto Engram guaranteed. Hasselbeck will have lots of weapons and with a healthy O-Line and maybe a 2nd round OT we will be fine in our running game...I see Forsett turning into something special he's kind of like the next Sproles, ya'll wait and see he is a definate talent.
