Owned... And there has been 99 speed before...
[QUOTE="MOM-D"]He doesnt derserve it., I say like an 92Nooge3491
i laughed at that
he definately deserves a 99
he's a 101.That's rather generous considering he came up short in their first post season game last year.
Plus his speed isn't that fast in real life. There are cornerbacks that could burn him in a one on one race. Setting his passing skills to at least 40 or 50.would have made more since but Madden is no longer about realistic play but arcade play. It's the return of Tecmo Bowl!!!
Throw_Power - 25 Throw_Accuracy -22 That's stupid.
[QUOTE="MOM-D"]He doesnt derserve it., I say like an 92odamkevin
wow, do you keep up with football?
That's what I was thinking! Tomlinson would be cheated if he had anything less than a 99! He is the best back in the NFL and could easily end up being the best back EVER!!!
So with your logic, a good player is based on how well teams play in the post season? You forget that LT was good when the team sucked a few years back. He carried the Charger's offense!
This thread is silly. LT is the best back in football today! So it should come to no surprise that he was going to at least get a 98. He is about 900 yards away from a 10,000 yard rushing milestone in only 6 years of play!No other player did better at this pace!

Same here, I laughed when I heard 92 overall.
Based on your sig, you should stick to the NBA...
You obviously don't know a thing about football with that statement.
No other back can compare with LT! There are very good backs in the league but LT is on a level all by himself.

AFC and NFC East Ratings are up, and they didn't fail to screw it up.
and Romo...is still a 84 only three points ahead of Jason Cambell...he is below Eli Freaking Manning...wow good job EA...good job. Also McNabb is a 94?!?! He's played 19 games in the past two seasons can someone say overrated?
The stats report is a joke!!!! Most notably:
Tomlinson QB throwing and accuracy? He is the one non-QB that has thrown 6 TD passes and 0 INTs with a high QB rating.
Brandon Jacobs 88 in speed? He is much faster than that! He has power and speed, wait till the season starts and people will witness that he has speed as well as power.
Tony Romo 75 in awareness? Give the dude a break, so he bobbled a snap that cost the Cowboys the playoffs. Did they forget that he performed brilliantly the moment he took the starting job? And that he made the Pro Bowl? How is Eli Manning's awareness better than Romo?
Ben Watson 89 speed & 88 stamina? He was the fastest Patriot (the fastest and athletic TE today!) that got to Champ Bailey after that huge interception in the playoffs two years ago. That one play alone should reflect a high rating in at least one of those categories.
Culpepper isn't on the Dolphins anymore!!
EA this is a joke!

fixed
The Madden Curse FTW
i wasn't talking about the madden curse. i was talking about how tomlinson has played 6 seasons without a serious injury. for a running back, this is pretty remarkable. it's only a matter of time.
show me the numbers that MCNABB put up last season and tell me hes overrated once moreAFC and NFC East Ratings are up, and they didn't fail to screw it up.

wtf?
He had 123 yards rushing with 2 TD's, and he only got 8 carries in the 2nd half (stupid Cameron).
Sounds about right...the man is a beast!!!tryfe_lyn

McNabb is one of the best QBs in NFL. He's overrated because he got into unfortunate injuries? That makes no sense
It's funny but half the people who either thinks he's overrated or question his talent, would want him on their home team! He is the best RB today, period! I don't need to tell you, his numbers show it. LT is definitely a beast! [QUOTE="tryfe_lyn"]Sounds about right...the man is a beast!!!mrvic87
Completely agree. If anyone in the NFL deserves a 99, it's LT. And this is coming from a Chargers hater!

Let's not forget about Manning here :D.
I don't understand why him being a 99 seems like such a shock. I'm not a huge fan of him, but I still drafted him numero uno in fantasy and expected him to be rated that high after last season.

I would also give a thumbs up for Manning, but if I could only pick one player in the NFL to be rated 99, it would be LT.

Well I sure hope he's putting up good numbers they pass 90% of their plays, and when your playing a pathetic 19 games in two season you really don't have much time to mess it up too bad. but when you can't stay healthy he shouldn't be that high 90-91 would be right.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? A 1 on 1 race? That has almost nothing to do with football at all. The 40 yard dash is a mere guideline on what to expect from a guy in the game. Vernon Davis runs a 4.3 40 yard dash, but he plays like a 4.8 guy, hence, no Hall of Fame induction just yet which is what everyone would have you believe when he ran his 40. LT has great football speed, he can get up to full speed in 2-3 steps, stop completely in 1-2, and get back up to full in another 2-3. That's what makes him more than worthy of a 99.
