so on saturday we got: Forrest Griffin(C) vs Rashad Evans, Antonio Nogueira(C) vs Frank Mir, and Quinton Jackson vs Wanderlei Silva

3 big fights. I got Evans by Knockout, Mir by Submission, and Jackson by knockout or judge's decision.

To be honest, the Title fight is just lame. I couldn't be less interested in either of these fighters.

I think Big Nog will win in fight that will get a lot of boos.

And I'm hoping that Wandy rams his knees through Rampage's head for a third time.

Wandy owns Rampage, it won't change. Altho I kind of hope it does.

being in a cage versus a ring makes a difference in ways, if your not used to it, so yea im guessing if wandy is still the same as last time he fought ramapage he'll win, i got nogueira by knock out, i was gonna pick mir, but i forgot he submitted sylvia in 82, and i got rashad by knock out in 2nd round

Rashad and Forrest pose many problems for each other style and size wise, this fight is the hardest to pick.

How could the inconsistent Frank Mir beat the second best HW MMA fighter ever? Nog By Sub.

Wanderlei probably takes this one but he is fighting a more well rounded Rampage with much better boxing and conditioning. It will be tough but I think Wandy finishes his trilogy of wins over Rampage.

well he did have his world destroyed from a motorcycle crash, so he does have an excuse. but i think he's returned to his old form. his last 2 fights were submission victories in the first round

Really my main point with that is Frank Mir is fighting literally the second best HW ever. The odds are HEAVILY against him.

I got Evans winning by TKO, then the Rampage fight I believe will be him winning by TKO but might be close.

Then the closest fight I have Mir winning a close one to Nogueira by Decision.

The show should be awesome, anyone of the main fights could be a the main event on another ppv. Winners = Rampage, Nog and Rashad.

All 3 of these fights though could go either way!

In all honest i can definatly see Mir and Nog going all 5 rounds and same with the Rashad vs Griffin fight. I dont see either of those fighters giving up easy, but we will see come saturday i guess!@

Cant wait!

Mir Vs Nog is not likely to go five rounds because even pre motorcycle accident Frank Mir struggled to go three. Nog only has two unavenged losses to his record and both are from Fedor. Fedor is the best MMA HW ever.

Well I saw it maybe going 5 rounds as the fist 2 rounds would be the most action, then die down in the 3rd with fatigue.

I can't really see them knocking eachother out as they are planning on defence since they might have learned plenty about eachother.

I can see a really defensive fight, like round 4 and 5 will be full of no energy.

But if there is a knockout, it will be done in the first 2 rounds.

Correct Fedor is the greatest HW ever and the greatest MMA fighter IMO ever.

Missed this thread but my predictions were all off, I took Nog over Mir by decision, Forrest over Rashad by decision, and Wand over Rampage though that fight I thought was really a toss up. I was completely wrong, it's MMA and anything can happen.

You are completely correct! I had no idea that Matt Serra would beat GSP last year. I had no idea that Gonzaga and Sylvia would lose to Couture. No one thought that the small fat Russian Fedor would beat Herring and then go on to beat Nogueira twice. MMA is a very great sport because upsets happen all the time.
