Well that was a little shocking.
Maybe I let all the Europen hype get to me; even the American announcers were putting our team down before this thing started.
What do you mean "dirty tricks"?It would be nice to see the Yanks win without Dirty tricks.
Oh well suppose it keeps the interest high with the Americans you had been on the end of two real beatings.

It had been reported that the majority of the European golfers had been kept up all night by rowdy American hotel patrons and mysterious phone calls all night, but such accusations have since been quashed by European captain Nick Faldo.
So congratulations to America, your boys played well.
the funny thing is US doesn't even take the ryder cup that seriously or should I say it's not as popular as it is in Europe but still they were able to come out with a win and that was without Tiger Woods, very impressiveandyboiii
Thats weird because as a world event its huge.
Its easly the 3rd most important behind the Fifa world cup and The cricket world cup. (Team events)

You're chalking this up to rowdy fans and prank phone calls? Give me a break. Typical loser's mentality. We see the Ryder Cup when it's played in Europe. We see how the fans are there. Just as rowdy if not more so. They do the same things over there. What happened to big guns Westwood, Garcia and Harrington? They know what the crowds are like at this type of event. They've been there before. Give credit to guys like Boo Weekly and Anthony Kim. 23 year old Kim defeated Sergio with his great Ryder Cup record and experience, head to head. US didn't even have Tiger. So like I commented earlier, I expected this to be an anti-America thread. CONGRATS TO THE 2008 U.S. RYDER CUP TEAM!!! USA!!!! USA!!!!! USA !!!!!! USA!!!!!!!!!!![QUOTE="macacd"][QUOTE="DJ_Magneto"][QUOTE="macacd"]What do you mean "dirty tricks"?It would be nice to see the Yanks win without Dirty tricks.

I totally rescinded my 'dirty tricks' comment as it was attributed to poor reporting and i congratulated the American team. With shortsightedness like yours it is totally understandable why America is disliked so much.
I'd love to bash america i really would but the few things you do well totally out-weight the many many things you do so badly wrong.

I read your comment and it sounded like sarcasm to me. Why you felt the need to link my profile is a little weird mark, but since you took the time...And I figured you'd use that opportunity to make another anti-American statement. But unlike you, I don't feel the urge to comment on the UK's shortcommings. I just don't feel it's worth my time.I'm not quite sure how your name came to be linked must have been due to the cut&paste function i used. Anyway,
I am going to draw a line underthis topic and leave you have your small victory.
So will i be seeing you in Newport in 2010? i'd gladly put you up for the duration of the tournament.
