Man I just saw the game and Team USA looked like they were bored and lazy. They did not even try really. They didn't even attempt to run. They just let Russia control the tempo for the entire game. I saw no hustle today so many rebounds Russia got because Team USA just stood there. Plus they were not playing like a team. I saw one on one basketball over and over. And what was up with not playing Michael Redd. Russia packed the middle for the entire game. I know they still won by over 20 pts but they better show some passion when the olympics begin or there going to lose.

I noticed there style of play too. However, once the real games start, they better step it up and not blow it.

They're not Europe's best team.

Team USA is pretty much a lock to win this. If they don't it will be an epic fail, like the Pats. :P

i beg to god to give the australian players mighty basketball skill to rise up agianst the evil american team and slay them inside with players like Andrew bogut, David anderson and Mathew nielson all of them 7ft so dwight has real test and CJ Bruton can drain 3's all game along... im guessing 30+ blow out to the Australian team

I think they are just taking it easy since the Olympics are about to start this week. You dont want them burning themselves out.

It's a tune up! If you know you can handily beat an opponent in pracrtice don't you think you'd let up a bit, maybe conserve some of the flashyness til later? No need to pour on an onslaught in a scrimmage. Sure, we wouldn't think that with the previous team and would give cause to worry but this year's USA hoops team is an actual team as opposed to the last one. They'll be just fine.
