Uh, yes. I don't see why people think just because someone has money, that they should somehow become a different person or some kind of saint. This is who VY is. Just because he has money, it doesn't mean he isn't allowed to dumb ish and make mistakes. Money doesn't make a person.

Here's the thing though. He's supposed to be the leader of his football team. People in leadership positions don't get into fights at strip clubs. He shouldn't have put himself in that situation in the first place. Imagine that the headline read: "Strip club fight! Drunken Peyton Manning attacks patron over childish insult!". Or Tom Brady, or Drew Brees, or Brett Favre. The real quarterbacks, the ones who are leaders to their teaammates, don't do this kind of thing.
You're right, but he is not on their level yet as a player, person, or a leader. It's a long road to get to where they are. He's just hitting a few bumps along the way. He is only 27. Everyone matures and grows as a person at their own rate.
I never said what he did was right, but I am also not going to sit here and bash him for it. Everyone makes mistakes. He has owned up to what he did and knows it was a mistake. To me this just isn't that big of a deal as ya'll seem to think it is. Fine him, chew his arse out, but there is no need for a suspension when he wasn't even arrested.
I think I'm on the same page as you, as far as punishment goes. I don't think Goodell will see it that way though.
My real point is that this desn't bode well for his future as a QB. Those names I mentioned? They never did these kind of things. I don't think he has the maturity or dedication to be the leader of an NFL team, and incidences like this reinforce that. I could be wrong, though.
