Gotta love that patient/doctor confidentiality

"NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans called police for help searching for Vince Young because his therapist told coach Jeff Fisher the quarterback mentioned suicide several times before driving away from his home with a gun.

Both Fisher and Young have said what happened Monday night was overblown by the media. But the supplemental report filed Tuesday by Nashville police showed that Fisher was worried what his quarterback might be doing after the call from Young's therapist.

"I asked him, 'What made her worry about him?' " Lt. Andrea Swisher wrote. "He stated, 'His mood, his emotions, he wants to quit, and he mentioned suicide several times.' He went on to state that he left the house with a gun.""

Knowledge is power!

If the patient's life is potentially in danger, doctor-patient confidentiality is no longer in effect (for obvious reasons).

Anyway this whole story is just bizzare. It's hard to believe that a player that young and successful has such significant emotional issues, and that the team failed to pick up on them during the scouting process.

Its pretty believable for me. When I was on JV I was a beast and everyone was chantin my number(didnt know my name thats ****) So i got sent up to varsity and coach wouldnt put me in. So, I QUIT! I tried to transfer but yeah. So you gotta realize that he was the best college player in my opinion (when he got drafted) and now hes getting booed. The suicides going to far but I know how he feels about wanting to quit when something goes wrong.

If this dude ever makes it back into a NFL game, opponents are going to eat him alive. If he is upset now by a few boos, he is definitely going to kill himself after a few games of mental torment.

LOL i hate it when people say this stuff, maybe fame and money don't mean that much to a person  Just because _______ has it worse than you doesn't mean life will be grand. Oh and i'm pretty sure he doesn't want to kill himself over a few "boos", usually something like this stirs for quite a while, we don't know the real reason/s behind it.

As long as the Titans win, I don't care who's at QB. Vince Young still has the potential to grow into a top QB, what many of us forget though is he was a Junior when he went into the NFL Draft and he played only half a season his rookie year, and only completed his first full season LAST season, so he's still pretty young and has time to change his ways. Regardless, he needs to clear his mind.
