Was it just me or did the guys on the post game show purposely stur things up?

I dont know how many people watched the post game show after last night's show down between the Cowboys and Eagles, but it just seemed like all three of those guys were trying to get Owens to burst. I mean come on, they kept asking him over and over again who is the leader on this team after he said like five times that there are captians on the offense which he named them and captians on this defense that are there to contribute and get the team going. Then Emmitt who I admire for all of his professionalism that he has had throughout his entire career and even through his early analyst career looked absolutely foolish to keep asking the same damn questions. I mean they asked Terrell what are some of his goals and team goals that he strives for and he started of by saying staying in shape getting ready for the game and everytime he steps on the field he tries to better himself all the time and then Young cuts him off and was like "Teams goals, team goals Terrell" and Terrell said in return to get to the playoffs and win a playoff game. I mean they didn't even let him finish the question and it was as though they were trying to embarass him on national t.v. or hoping that he blew up or something.

I don't know I just think ESPN is starting to look more foolish and less crediable as weeks go on. Some of these analysts are god awful. What are your guys thoughts?

I liek the analysts really excpet when they talk too much, Kornheiase is kinda meh but i liked him on PTI so its not that big of a deal.

I wouldn't say the guy doesn't deserve any respect because thats a little over the top. I'm just saying that ESPN makes a big deal out of nothing all the time and this situation is not different. I mean the dude answered their questions and they kept harping him as though they wanted him to mess up. I mean I don't mind some of them, but 95% of them are just god awful.

I tend to agree, it's not like he's arrogant without cause. He's been amongst the top 3 receivers in the league for the better part of the last decade. Not that I like arrogance, but a little swagger is good for a team.

People do change. Look at Deion Sanders, Jason Kidd, and Brett Hull. All fine examples of superstar players that were arrogant bastards to start their careers but at some point matured and grew up.

I'm sorry I hate to tell you, but these teams are supposed to be professional atheletes and I understand that T.O. in the past especially on the Eagles was not professional at all, atleast the last year he was there he wasn't, but I'm tired of everyone blaming T.O. for destorying the Eagles. Does everybody not remember Mcnabb got injured that year or how about Westbrook? The team was plagued with injuries in '05 and taking out T.O. for the rest of the year which I agree with, hurt them even more. So I mean did you expect the team to be good with all of that? Its not just all T.O. they are professional atheletes and it matters what you do on the field, you can't tell me because T.O. was crying about a contract and Mcnabb (When everyone pretty much had Mcnabbs back on this) that should of have had an effect on the playing field. Thats rediculous, I'm not saying what he did was right but he isn't the 100% reason why the Eagles went down the tubes after the superbowl.
