at least one guy who loves to play defense and that will hopefully rub off on everyone else. So maybe after this year they draft a few guys who will play man to man every possession and do it well. They have the offense to hang with anyone in the league, now they just need to stop other teams from scoring. Maybe Terry Porter will change that this year, never know!

i'll tell you what they don't need, an aging old shaq on their team that doesn't flow with their fast offense

They need to kick kerr out. Kerr has destroyed that whole team. This will be the last year they somewhat shine.

I watched the Suns/Nuggets game (first ever outdoor NBA game) and I was very impressed with their rookie Robin Lopez. He had like 8 blocks I believe. He's very fluid for his size, runs the floor well, and is athletic. I think Amare Stoudemire and Robin Lopez will be a nice young front-court Duo to build around in the future.

Shaq on the other hand looked as old and slow as ever. Its a shame really how much he's declined in the past couple of seasons. Nash seems like he's on the decline as well. Nash is still effective, but definitely not like he was during his back-to-back MVP seasons.

the suns are a very good team the way they are now... i do agree about the defense though....shaq is over the hill and they made a HUGE mistake by making that trade last year....HOWEVER.....i think they have very good chemistry now... just getting everything together....i think there defense can be great with the ppl they have now....but for some reason it's just not.

I think there time to win a championship has gone. I don't think they can compete with the lakers, jazz, rockets and hornets.

I hope I'm wrong though. I really want nash to win a title.

They can't play an ounce of defense and their roster is too old to compete with the best in the Western Conference. Their window has closed unless they dramaticaly improve their defense, which I don't think will happen.

Sorry boys, the door's closed. Suns and the Mavericks both had it in thier hands but didn't get it done and now it's too late. Even San Antonio can probably forget it with Duncan another year older. I hate the Lakers, but the west is thier's to lose.

I know I love it. Suns fans always cry and talk smack, then dissapear for awhile.
