How about we post our win-loss record as well? I'd also be up for like a cumulative score for points or upsets or whatever, I just don't know how to do it.Last week I was 12-4.
Vikings @ Lions-I'm not too impressed with the Vikes so far, they gave up 20 points against a bad Cleveland offense and struggled to score in the first half. Still, after getting run over by the Saints I'm not ready to give Detroit a win, but it's going to be closer than people think it will be. Stafford will settle in and throw a couple TD passes, but AP is going to kill yet again. Vikings 31-21.
Cardinals @ Jaguars-Can you say Superbowl hangover? I liked whatI saw from Jacksonville last week, and if the Niners can beat Arizona then so can the Jags. MJD is going to have a big game which is going to allow Garrard to have a solid game. On the other side, the Arizona running attack si going to go nowhere and Kurt Warner will continue to struggle. Jaguars 20-10. P.S. does this count as my upset? If it does, Arizona two weeks in a row? Maybe if they're favored all season I cna keep picking them to lose and kill with my upset picks.
Bengals @ Packers-I'd like to pick Cinci and I think I still could be wrong on this one, but I have to go with the Pack. I didn't like the way either team looked in their debut, sloppy play from both teams, but to not score a touchdown until the fourth quarter? Yikes. Packers 10-6.
Patriots @ Jets-I thought the New England D was supposed to be solid, at least in the secondary. I can't believe they gave up that many points to Buffalo. I think Sanchez has another great game, but so does Brady. Pats win a shootout with a field goal. Patriots 31-28.
Raiders @ Chiefs-I'm not impressed with the Chiefs D at all, and if the Raiders can hold the Chargers to 24 points they can do the same to KC. A second upset maybe? Raiders 27-24
Texans @ Titans-You can't run the ball against the Jets, you're not gonna run the ball against the Titans. Tennessee comes back in a big way and makes a statement. Titans 24-9.
Panthers @ Falcons-I'm not going to predict big deficits because I think Delhomme's going to have a better game. Better, not good. Ryan has another big game, but the Panthers at least stop the run. Falcons 24-14.
Rams @ Redskins-Settle in, Spags, it's gonna be a long ride. Two upsides, they don't get shut out and they give up fewer points, but they still lose. Redskins 23-10
Saints @ Eagles-Another week, another North/South match being called a close game of the week. So you picked off Delhomme a few times, want a cookie? I got news for ya Philly, Brees ain't no Delhomme. Actually, I was going to pick the Saints, but I just can't overlook the Lions scoring so many points on the N'Orleans D. B-West tears it up and makes up for the loss of McNabb, which is going to cost them points.Eagles 24-33. GOTW
Bucs @ Bills-I have no idea what to think of Buffalo. One minute I think they're headed to the top, the next to the bottom, then back to the top again. Arrrgh, Bills 24-10.
Seahawks @ Niners-The Hawks are going back to the top, baby! I think it's a close game, though, my sleeper of the week. Seahawks 21-17.
Steelers @ Bears-If there's one thing that didn't impress me about the Steelers it was the pass protection. I think it's a problem in this game. I also think Cutler takes a step forward, but that's not saying much. Forte gets held again, though. Pittsburgh wins what is a close defensive battle until the fourth quarter when they score a third touchdown. Pittsburgh 21-10.
Ravens @ Chargers-Before the season started I would have called this a defensive battle, but after seeing both teams give up points to the Raiders and Chiefs I'm going to say it's one of the high-scoring games of the week. Ravens 41-30.
Browns @ Broncos-Fact: Minnesota has a better offense than Denver. Fact: Minnesota has a better defense than Denver. Fact: McDaniels is not only an idiot, but a lucky idiot. The Cleveland D will have a nice showing against a soft O and generate some takeaways, Quinn will have a decent day, and the Browns will win. Browns 21-13.
Giants @ Cowboys-Dallas is better than I thought, but so is New York. I'm not impressed with the Dallas D, though, and i think Romo has a hard game under a good pass rush. Giants 24-17.
Colts @ Dolphins-Very unimpressive starts from these two teams, if you ask me. However I think Miami took the bigger step back. Colts D is stingy with points and the Wildcat hits a roadblock. Manning has a decent day, though. Colts 24-6
