G-Marbury

G-Crawford

F-Who the hell is there small Foward?

F-Randolph

C-Curry

Knicks also get Fred Jone(really really good dunker) and Dan Dikeu(sp)

On paper this team looks dominate but on Paper Yankees look like a 125 win team and everyone knows were that went.

This team doesn't look dominant on paper. :|

But anyway, I think it's ridiculous that the Knicks got Randolph and couple other dudes for absolutely nothing. Francis and Frye are both below average players at best.

How can a team missing a SF be on paper dominant? Curry and Marbury may put up numbers but I sure don't love their individual games. The Knicks have a weird team, could be scary though.

It's a good trade for NY. Switching two bad contracts but Randolph, for all his character issues, is way better than Francis. Frye is nice but not special. Fred Jones I don't know much about. Dickau is maybe the worst player in the league.

This "dominant" team will be good for 6th in the East, at best. Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Miami, and Toronto are all better, without a doubt. The Nets and Wizards are probably better, too.

Steve Francis is still GOOD. C'mon people, he was just in a lousy system; he's still a pretty good point in this league. Plus his deal is expiring and they get a decent backup big in Frye. They get rid of Z-bo. It looks pretty nice for portland.

Sad to see Frye go, but glad to see Francis off the books with him doing so little in NY.

Eddy Curry was already doing his thing this year. Add randolph to the mix you have possibly one of the best big men duo in the game right now. Marbury and Crawford can hold their own 15 or 16 a game, but the lack of a decent SF is a major setback. It would be a step in the right direction.

Quentin Richardson

PPG (13.0)

RPG (7.20)

APG (2.2)

and don't forget the 23rd draft pick, Wilson Chandler, who was a big impact for DePaul last season.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha just what the Knicks need...ANOTHER ball-hog player. Ontop of that he's in NYC of all places and he's had character issues and hangs out with the "wrong" crowds. This won't work the Knicks are still lottery-bound even though next year they'll finally get to keep their lottery pick.

Knicks interior D= AWFUL  w/ Randolph & Curry
Perimeter D = AWFUL w/ Marbury & Crawford & Richardson

they may score 105 a game but they will give up 120.

i think that it was definitely portland's night tonight. not just cause of oden, but getting frye and francis? sick! they'll be BIGTIME contenders in the west in 2 years guaranteed. as for my lakers, wtf did they get another point? i thought that the smush/farmar combo was good enough.

Chances are that Francis will get his contract bought out by the Blazers -- and if he's signed by anyone after that, I'll be a little surprised. He's not good.

The Knicks also have another SF/PF named David Lee...he's pretty good. There are also attempting to trade for VC, who I guess could play the 3.

If they trade for VC, they'll have to give some of their better players up. I think trading for VC would be stupid. He's yet ANOTHER ball-hog-type player for the Knicks(who, as of right now, have 24 of them), and he was terrible in the playoffs.

as long as Steve Francis is no longer a Knick, im happy. The only good thing he did for them, was the buzzer beater shot to win the game..

since when did they have interior D? the Knicks have always had bad defense. Im a knicks fan, and if you know anything about the Knicks, getting Zach Randolph is what we have been needing for a couple years.
