I read that the Cubs were announcing trading Prior (if possible). Why would anyone even trade for this guy? Does he even have trade value?

Well, he might not be able to do much in the way of pitching with a jacked up arm, but he can still do chores around the clubhouse, help do the laundry, shave backs, adjust cups, and other such things. He has some value I'm sure.

Could be used as an emergency starter. Keep in minors, use in long relief, and spot start when needed. Wouldnt trade much to get him though.

I'm sure there are teams that are desperate enough to trade for him but they still probably won't trade much for him. When he's not injured he's great but he's almost ALWAYS injured.

id give the Cubs a stack of paper for Prior. The paper would actually most likly finish the season though

He would be more useful at this point as rp than a sp. Given his history of arm problems.
