Well all-time its probably the Miami Hurricanes college football team, since they have 5 national championships. In recent memory it has been the Florida Gators college football team with 2 national championships in the past 4 years, and 3 championships in the past 15 years. Sure we have teams like the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bucs, and Miami Heat who have also won national championships... but college football (UF, Miami, FSU and recently USF) rules Florida.

Well, actually, if you want to argue which state is better to live in, Minnesota clearly is. We have 5 cities in Money Magazine's Best Places To Live and my city, Eden Prarie, is number 1. So, actually, I live in the best city in America. Boom.

Is anybody else seeing this? This is a sports forum, nobody cares where you live, or anything other than sports. You were the one who said "Because we know the value of a state relies squarely and exclusively on their sports teams," so you brought this upon yourself.:)Because we know the value of a state relies squarely and exclusively on their sports teams [QUOTE="monkeytoes61"][QUOTE="Logan1616"] Just sayin' that it's not a good state to live in currently due to your teams. You don't live in Brooklyn, so you clearly don't live in the best city in America. The current state I live in, the best team is the Phillies. The Yankeeslimpbizkit818
Yup, this right here. I don't follow them though, since I'm not a fan of baseball.
I can't see who's a better TEAM, Cowboys or Spurs. We all know which is more popular tho.

That's easy, it's the Longhorns. Baseball and football are our best team sports.
To the guy going on about Minnesota being a great place to live, that list is for small cities. In other words, who cares? Also that list has Mo City, TX in the top 25. That's a joke. It's high on the crime list for Houston suburbs and the schools are... well just not good to say the least. That list isn't very credible. I'll take Austin over any city on that list.

Ah yes, forgot about the college level. I agree 100%.

My city is number 1 in America, and that's proven. Yours is just opinion. Austin is way more dirty, violent, and has less jobs, and more illterate people in it that Eden Prarie. You lose.[QUOTE="cmpepper23"][QUOTE="Major_Snake"]

If you actually read that list it says top small cities to live in. No its not fact. There is a huge difference between fact and opinion. It is a fact that Eden Praire is a city in Mn. It is a Opinion that CNNMoney thinks its the best small city to live in. You really need to know the difference. Also who says CNNMoney is reliable. What did you read y they think its the best small town. There reasons might not be the same as everyone elses. It's thier opinion. It is not fact.Where are you getting your facts? You cannot make statement without any proof. you said it has more jobs than Austin. I find that highly unlikely.
You said it has more literate than Austin I doubt that. The city has under 100,000 people. Austin is near a million people. So your saying that Austin has less than 100,000 literate people? Thats just saying if all of Eden Praire is literate. Which i doubt is the case. You can't really compare a large metropolitan city or even a moderate city such as Austin to a small rural town like Eden Praire. Also a bigger city always has better opportunity than a small rural town. Way more businesses. Way more diverse jobs. Also way more things to do. IDK about you but us young people like to be able to do things. Such as clubbing, etc. A town like Eden Priare cannot offer that. The CNN article says the town doesn't even have a real downtown. I'm not basingEden Praire. I'm just saying you cannot compare a small rural town to a large metropolitan city or even a moderate size city. There is no comparison.

HAve to been to NY? Brooklyn is in fact not a city. It's part of NYC. Are you saying that tiny little Eden Prairie is better than NYC? Cause that is the most delusional thing I have ever heard anyone say. You really need to go out more. There is a whole world outside of Minnesota which is a tiny state in comparision to other states such as California. Less people live in MN than LA, or NYC. What are you gonna say next. Eden Prairie is better than Tokyo, London, Paris, Moscow, Hong Kong, LA, San fransisco. Major Metropolitan cities. I never hear people wanting to visit Eden Praire before. Also I'm sure Rubio is really happy about leaving Madrid to go to Minneapolis. I'm pretty sure if the Knicks has chosen him he would be playing for the knicks this season or last. Why do you think it was so hard to get players to play with KG in Minnesota. Minnesota just doesn't compare to places such as Florida, California, NY.You know y NYC is expensive? Cause people actually want to live there. You know y its violent? Cause theres actually people who live there.
Have you ever been outside of Minnesota before? You really need to go out and experience other places. You really need to go and see how a real big city is like. Cause I can tell you this. Ask anyone on this forum which city is better. NYC or Eden Pariare everyone is going to say. WTF is Eden Praire. You obviously really like that city but your a fool if you think it can compare to NYC, LA, SF, Boston, Miami, Seattle, Philly, Rome, Paris, Moscow, Hong Kong, Madrid, London, Berlin. Those are real Metropolitan Cities.
Also saying things like, "you lose", "boom." Doing some name calling like calling people "products of society" and"Kid"makes it sound like your 12. if your 12 than its ok but if your like someone who is over 18 then you really need to grow up.
