Im hyped I think USA could win this U-20 World Cup...I also think that this team could lead to a future awesome adult USA national team. What do you think?
Whats good is the US has got a good, young, nucleus of talent thats on the rise. Hopefully they can continue to improve and can be a team to be reckoned with in the next World Cup.
USA was great in the win. Adu and Altidore make a deadly combo. Brazil had more chances, but couldn't capitalize. The US may make it far but I highly doubt they win this. Mexico is probably the best team right now followed by Portugal, Argentina, and maybe Brazil (if they can get into the knockout stages) in no particular order. Watch out for the Czech Rep. and Spain as well.

The USA already beat Mexico so I think they have a good chance of taking the whole thing. All the teams may have younger players right now but it's a sign of things to come for the USA. Glad to see them play well.
Bear in mind that this is U-20,so its not the actual fenomenon brazil,but anyway USA has a good young team,better than the team that they sent to venezuela,(worst team of the tournament,all games lost)anyway so does Portugal and argentina have good teams,my pick goes to Mexico because they have an awesome young team already playing in important teams like gio in Barcelona,Carlos vela in Slamanca,and so forth,so i think it will be between those four teams,with my pick going to Mexico...
Brazil had a good game but they only shot at the Keeper. USA has and will only get better in the future as more immigrants come. USA gets immirgrants from around the world thats why they do well. USA will loose in the semis, and Argentina will once again win.
The adult team just got knocked out in the opening round of the Copa America tournament. Lets hope for their sake they have better players coming through.

And as for their so called "stars", they're not exactly world beaters. The only reason why the US gets ranked so high in FIFA rankings is because they play inarguably the easiest (bar oceania) qualifying groups in the world, always playing against poor teams (bar mexico) and gaining points. Whereas South American teams have to face each other all the time and take points off each other.
what i think of this is who cares, who flippin cares about futbol, or how us americans call it "soccer", soccer is gay and always will be.

They won a game with Poland and Brazil and tied against South Korea. This is U-20 after all and experience isn't as strong in this tournament compared to other ones. Though the future does look nice for USA's young players.

lol Well for the record, I am loving how well USA is doing.
Just glad Poland made it through the group of death we played a good game against Brazil winning 1-0 but the USA game was just awful for Poland is was the complete opposite the way we played against Brazil and we managed a tie with Korea. Good luck to USA you gotta face Uruguay now with Poland facing Argentina and Brazil facing Spain, I'm telling you group D got screwed over.
