Whos the best football player past and present and say why

I believe the original poster meant for Futbol (as in soccer). I think some people mistook that as American Football, and Reggie Bush was a superstar in College Football.

Favorite Futbol player: Ronaldhino & Pele

Favorite American Football Player: Joe Montana (Hands Down!)

For futbol I would have to say:

Past - Pele
Present - Beckham... jk!!! It's actually Kasey Keller. Guy is one sick goal keeper and he's from the US to boot!

Now, for football American estilo:

Past - Steve Young (he's a lefty and from my fave college BYU and he wasn't too shabby a QB)
Present - ...this is hard... I'll go with Ladanian Tomlinson because he is my kind of RB, powerful but speedy as well. Basically if you shrink Jim Brown down a bit you get LT.

Past: Barry Sanders he couldn't be tackled

Present:Ladainian Tomlinson, for two reasons. I'm a Chargers fan, and he is just awesome.

Past: Troy Aikman. He was simply a winner

Present: Tom Brady. He is simply a winner

yeah sorry I like FOOTBALL not futbol, and I still think jerry rice and emmitt smith were the best ever

course it's really hard to say in pro football, there have been many greats, its all personal opinion with football
