NFL-New England Patriots
NBA- Boston Celtics
MLB-Boston Red Sox
NHL-Boston Bruins, can youtell im from Boston yet :P
Chicago Bears - Hometown team
Chicago Bulls - Hometown team
Chicago Blackhawks - Hometown team
Chicago White Sox - Hometown team. When I was growing up, I liked guys like Frank Thomas, Harold Baines, and Ozzie Guillen more than Sammy Sosa and Mark Grace...and so I've been a Sox fan ever since. Plus, I didn't want to be a fan of a team known as the "lovable losers".
University of Illinois- The other big college programs in the area are Northwestern and Notre Dame...can't really think of anyone else. Both Northwestern and Notre Dame always seemed too stuck up (or something) for my tastes so I went with the Illini.
Los Angeles Dodgers - Hometown team.
Seleccion Mexicana - I'm Mexican.
Los Angeles Lakers - Hometown team.
FC Barcelona - Been a fan since they signed Mexican player Rafa Marquez.
Not to mention that I grew up in a household where my Dad and brothers rooted for the first three teams. :P
cuz i live in the CITY OF CHAMPIONSstarwarsjunkyYup, because we're the greatest sports city in the world. Notice the Terrible Towel in the background, yes that's at the Olympics:
Washington Redskins - Hometown team. I will always be a Redskins fan till I die.
Washington Wizards - Hometown team
Maryland Terrapins football and basketball- I live five minutes near the campus and have been a fan for a long time
Washington Capitals - Hometown team
Baltimore Orioles - I grew up watching them and was a Cal Ripkin fan. I prefer them more then the Nationals since they were the Expos. However I would go to Nats games but I'm not that big on baseball.
I don't really have a faborite soccer team. In Europe I guess I would pick FC Barcelona but I also like Real Madrid so I guess anyone from Spain.
SF 49ers - The first football memory I have is watching the niners beat the Bengals in SB XXIII. I remember watching this game with my family, and that my dad was incredibly stressed. When the niners were about to go on the their final drive, I remember he uttered these words: "the niners always win." After that Montana led the team with about 1:30 to go, and scored the game winning TD as everybody knows. My dad then lifted me up in the air and said "the niners always win the SB!" From then on I was a fan for life.
SF Giants - It was a combination of things, but I know it started with me feeling bad for them losing against the A's in the '89 WS.
SJ Sharks - Around '92 I remember hearing a lot of Sharks buzz, so I jumped on the bandwagon. It wasn't until about 04 that I seriously started following the team though.
GS Warriors - They're local, no special reason.
LA Lakers - My dad used to talk about Magic all the time, and he also used to pick them whenever I played NBA JAM T.E with him.
Cal Bears - I go there. Before that I was a Stanford fan since my dad went there. I'm also still somewhat fond of USC, since again my dad is a fan of theirs.
New York Knicks - Hometown Team
New York Giants - Hometown Team
Miami Heat - Been a fan of them since '03(when they drafted Wade). Everyone was saying Lebron was the next big thing but I was more impressed by D-Wade.
MLB - Yankees - ever since MAD Magazine ran player posters years ago - my fav was a Goose Gossage poster I had gotten from the mag when I was a kid, ever since then I've been a fan.
NFL - NY Giants - Thought Marc bavaro was awesome
NHL - Bruins -was a Cam Neely fan - I can't name 2 people on the team now.
NBA - Celtics - loved itwhen Danny Ainge would sink a half court shot at the half time buzzer. Seemed like almost every game I watch he'd drain one of those.
NHL - Ottawa Senators... I live here and always loved them..Go Sens Go
NFL - Minnesota Vikings... Liked them when I was younger, Culpepper to Moss baby!!
MLB - Toronto Blue Jays... Only Canadian team left, Go Jays!!
NBA - Toronto Raptors... Only Canadian team left...again, Go Raps!!
Soccer - Inter Milan... I play soccer and they are my team, FC Internazionale!!
NCAA - Arizona State Sun Devils... Loved watching them and have a sister in law from there now lol
NBA: Houston Rockets - I'm from southeast Texas and Hakeem the Dream is the man. CLUTCH CITY
NFL: Houston Texans - originally Houston Oilers, then Titans because they were the same players, and I love VY, but the Texans have grown on me and that is my team.
MLB: NY Yankees - Growing up I always went to Astro games so I like them as well, but I always watched the Yankees on TV and loved the pinstripes. It's trivial, but for some reason their uniforms attracted me to them. When I was little my big bro had a jersey and I always took it and wore it. Also they have and have had some of my favorite players as well.
MLS: Houston Dynamo - I'm from SETX
NCAA: Texas Longhorns - My grandpa loved them and sort of instilled it in me since I was a baby to love the Longhorns. I now go there as well.
Football: FC Barcelona - my great grandfather is from Barcelona so I have some pride in that, and I just love the way they play the game.
Los Angeles Lakers, because the game when Horry shot the game-winning ,buzzer beating three against the Kings was the first NBA game that i've watched(that was 7 years ago, i was 8 years old back then) and i started to like the Lakers from that time and the best NBA player of today is on that team. :D
Well growing up as an Army brat in KS I was a Chiefs and Cards (back when they were St Louis) and KSUand have been ever since.
Then we moved to Ohio and you didn't get a lot of Chiefs or Cards games, but you got a lot of Eagles games and I'd watch them play with this awesome QB that just blew me away. He was R. Cunningham, so I became a Eagles fan also.
MLB the White Sox cause I use to love watching the The Big Hurt playing and of course the Royals.
NBA the Spurs, because of David Robinson and because he was military.
I know sounds kind of dumb reasons, but I stick with my teams no matter what. I have hats and jerseys of all my teams.
Dallas Stars - Home team
Dallas Mavericks - Home team
Texas Tech Red Raiders - My dad went there
Indianapolis Colts - Being a big college football fan, I highly respected Peyton Manning when he was at Tennesee, so naturally when he got drafted to the Colts, I began liking them. Even though the Cowboys are my home team, I can't stand them. Everybody in Dallas hails them as Super Bowl Champs EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

Florida State Seminoles - Only CF team that looks like the Niners...also though D. Sanders and Charlie Ward were sick!!!
