Hes a good player but I don't think deserved to win because he is too much of a ball hog,nba is a team effort he can't beat the deeper teams like you saw for boston

I also heard he has no regard for human life.True ballers will the the title.Lakkers 08

Thats why I'm glad that I don't have to see the Cavs anymore because I will tell you it was things like that that were so overblown its not even funny. It was pretty sad how bad the national broadcastors were sweating this guys balls. He is a great player no doubt, but it his image that is created by the national media that make people not want to watch basketball.

Early in his career he didnt try to be a scorer. He was happy dishing the ball and liked being compared to Magic. But he had to become a scorer b/c he never had a reliable sidekick. Im sure he wants his teammates to step up but they dont. I remember watching Game 5 against Boston when Lebron scored like 8 straight points to give them a double digit lead, and then he tried to get his teammates involved. What do they do? They brick like 3-4 shots in a row, Boston gets back into it, and Im thinking why didnt Lebron just keep shooting. Or in Game 7, when Lebron brought them back toward the end of the 4th, and dished the ball to a couple teammates who ended up missing badly. He really is a one-man team, kinda like Kobe was couple seasons ago, and Jordan was early in his career. I mean, if Boston felt someone on Cleveland could hurt them besides Lebron, they wouldn't have been triple-teaming him all the time. That's essentially saying, "Lebron, your teammates suck." If he can just get a teammate who demands respect and the occasional double-team, I think they would be a whole different team.

I like him a lot. He is young yet really good. He is also humble, something pretty rare in this day.

so true. LBJ elevates the entire team all by himself, not becoz he likes to -- becoz he's the only one on the team that's capable of doing it. i'm suprised that so few people actually see what it REALLY takes for LBJ to reach his current superstar status. certainly nothing from his teammates.

Hes a great player imo, and can do some things on the court that ive never seen in my 22 years of watching basketball. With that being said, i think he needs a few better players on his team to win it all. Also i wish he would pass a little more often, because he draws so many doubel teams to himself. He will be a player to watch out for in the next 2-4 years, as he gains experience and hopefully a few better players around him. Great player but i hope he can work on that jump shot and like i said before, pass a little more.

He referred the Cavs, "Lebron's Team" on game 5. I hated him for that, and i think that's the reason the team bailed out on him on game 7.

I agree they made the dunk seem a bit better then it was, but it was pretty sweet. Garnett pushed him a bit while he extended and slammed it down.

Better than Kobe. Kobe actually said, in an interview "I figured out I was better than everyone else when I was in high school." Even if that was true, you don't come out and say it.

Lebron doesn't have enough talent around him to really get his teammates involved. He's a "ball hog" by necessity.

Kevin Harlen in 2004 said after one of Kobes dunk "Kobe with no regard for human life", he used it again after a reverse dunk by kobe against garnett when he was with minnesota

First, let me say Lebron is one of my favorite players in the league, but in the Cleveland/ Boston series showed Lebron still needs to grow....Lebron said after scoring 35pts in a game "My team didn't do so good, I did good" WTF....if your team didn't do so well then you have to be a better leader, don't make comments in public like that to hurt your team.

It's not LBJ's fault his team can't score. If it weren't for him being a ballhog they would have missed the playoffs entirely.

I agree. He's good, but he's also the most overrated player in the league. The league wants him to be better than he actually is.

and i bet that's what the league wants as well....talk about bias.....

if anything, LBJ, who singlehandedly lifts a 3rd rated team to become a playoff major power, improves his game steadily every season, and YET has to endure all the relentless doubt and sneering by half the league's audience, is vastly UNDER-rated.

Yeah, on a pretty bad team. Big deal. Lebron would get eaten alive in the West.

Considered he outplayed kobe everytime they've faced this season, I think lebron would do rather well on a west team. Nice try though.

Excuse me but you're taking about Lebron hanging on ball to much what about Kobe. And by the way how can people be pleased when Lebron wasn't taking the shots to "step up like a leader" everyone was all over him.

"Oh Lebron should have taken the final shot instead of passing the ball..." Well let me put it like this he scored the last 48 pts last year and the last 25 pts in double overtime against Detroit to give the Cavs the chance to go ahead 3-2 on the Easter Conference finals. If he wouldn't have step up then who?

man yall some haters. lebron is better at 22 then kobe was, and kobe had shaq. lebron has ben wallace and non jumping ilgauskas. lebron is putting up historic stats. he is a beast. wait till he gets a consistent jumper. his point guard is delonte west. and anderson verajuo or however its spelled needs to get some pom poms. all he is good for is a few charges. and he wanted to hold out, 4 what. what does he do? joe smith is a bust, wally doesnt show up everyday, boobie gibson isnt a point gaurd, damon jones fuked cleveland over, ben wallace is a system player (detroit), zydranus is the only one who gets my respect, and he is a first half player jus like josh howard. then he jus disappears. id rather see lebron brick threes than verajuo floppin around the court like a fish out of water. without lebron, cleveland couldnt even win the ncaa championship.

A couple games a season against the West doesn't prove much. Try playing those teams every game. It wears on you, which is why Lebron and the Cavs are so fresh when they face most of the West. They play cupcakes leading up to it, then they see it as a statement game.
