I dont think so, I think every year when the game is released there will be some tactic that will easily get you a win. like for instance with madden 07 the slant out routes were almost impossible to not to score on, then with madden 08 on defense I average about 40 sacks a season with two of my players(yes I play on all-madden) and I have had a 20 interception season three times. Like I said its a sports game, keyword game meaning its meant to be figured out. Thats just me though.

youre right about Madden as theyres always some glitch that can wina game for you.As for your question, the answer is no because our expectations are rised each year. Game developers get tired of the hatas and always put new unneeded stuff that makes the game bad like the spectacu;ar catch in madden or 24/7 mode in SvR. SO no we wont be satisfied with a game ever theyres always a problem. Lets face it GS will never give sports a 10 or any other reviewer so that should explain it right there.

The only sports game that came even close to it's real life sport is Winning Eleven/PES. Second is NFL 2K5. Developers are scared to make a true sports sim game, because casual gamers don't like realism, they like to dunk all day with Lebron, and throw deep to Moss every play. Sadly developers have to make the game towards casual gamers, considering they are majority of their customers.

No there never be a perfect sports game or any other genre for that matter because what we would say is perfect now im sure if we got our hands on it we would start to find faults and because everyone has different opinions what you may think is the perfect game i may think it can be improved and vice versa.

They should make a full football game starting with your high-school career and working your way up to NFL. you can control your player outside of the game, like drive around the city, drive him to practice, have a family.accutly get paid and have to apy groceries and a house. that'd be sweet

I think without some type of "full motion" control (think Wii but like the suits they use for motion capture), total realism (or close to it) will always be out of grasp as far as most sports.

There can never be a PERFECT sports game. The casual gamer wants something fun where they can dunk whenever or throw a hail mary every play, but a true fan of basketball or football wants something realistic. It's impossible to satisfy both gamers.

Definitely MVP 05. Best sports game ever, by far. Next would be Tony Hawk 4.

I do appreciate the detail in 'The Show' 08', The extra time spent making the stadiums look great, all the city and team specific commentary. It may not be 'perfect' but it's nice to see them really going the extra mile.

The criterion for perfection varies from person to person, therefore, no there will never be a 'perfect' game.

i doubt it. Even though madden 08 made a big leap into great animations. gameplay still feels unrealstic in some parts, also the player movements on some players still looks robotic. Also, in my opinion have a great sports game, you need a great enviorment , if the crowds and stadium looks great and react to everyplay than it makes the game great, with near perfect gameplay if that's possible. For, example on madden 08. i would like to see the crowds sit and then stand up with the home team is getting ready for a big play, or just go crazy when the home team scores, and also with some fireworks when a TD is scored. A sports game is possibe, but only time will tell. with all of these new next gen technology..developers are still not getting the full load. hopefully 3 or 4 years from now we will get the perfect sports game. but i think , imo we would have to wait for next gen to come agian.
