[QUOTE="MartinRiggs15"]The fact that boston came back from 3-0 in the playoffs is a big enough smack on the yankees to last the decade.Uptown
Good thing the yankees have enough rings to last almost 3 decades
:lol:I believe the Red Sox won the season series in 05. I thin if they lose this game the season series will be tied with 4 games still yet to be played(3 at Fenway). 4-1 now with ARods homer.bunchofpixelsYankees won the season Series in 05:| how do you think they won the East when They had the same record as the Sox
well the yanks have always been better than the *spit* redsox despite how they play(we all have bad days) and i think 28 yea i said 28 world series rings speaks for itself . Suck on that ortiz *spit twice*Ruhdezeeits 26...

talk about a bandwagon ..... anyway Yankees sweep Red Sox and I see no reason as to why I can not boast about this. Going to hit my friend (a red sox fan) with a broom on his back tomorrow morning, should be great.
It doesn't get much worse than scoring 44 runs in four games, and then scoring six runs over the course of three games. Ugh, the next time we play against the Yankees, we need to bench Nancy. There's no way that guy deserves 13 million a year for 7 HR and 46 RBIs... It's just plain sad. :x What were we thinking? Argh! Dutch_MixOverpaid for Lugo as well. He is making as much as Renteria. They should have kept that guy.

Yeah, isn't Renteria's BA like .320 or something?
Ugh, I can't stand Drew, Lugo, and Crisp. They're nothing but rally killers. :x

How soon can you forget that Renteria couldn't handle the pressure in Boston.

Why would you say that? His season in Boston wasnt far off his typical numbers. If you are referring to his errors(30 that year), his first 3 years in St Louis he had 26,27,and 24 errors.[QUOTE="Master_Live"]Overpaid for Lugo as well. He is making as much as Renteria. trading Nomar was stupid in there part but hell they won a ring that year but i bet they could have that ring and Nomar at the same timeNetYankEagle
Yeah, after that trade I lost some respect for the Red Sox organization.

The Sox didnt want to pay more than that and Cabrera was a key to the run. Funny thing is he ended up with a 1 year 8 mill contract from the Cubs. The guy was/is always injured.
