What NFL players do you feel are primed for a breakout season?

My rankings are as follows:

QB: Matthew Stafford - With his young supporting cast now a year wiser, I can see him taking the next step....if he can stay healthy. Stafford was on pace to be a top 10 QB early last year before a shoulder injury ended his season. Teammates have said that after going through shoulder rehab during the offseason, his arm looks better than ever, and throwing to Megatron doesn't hurt either. Sam Bradford deserves a mention here too.

RB: A lot of people are probably expecting to see Darren McFadden or Knowshon Moreno here, but I'm gonna go with a slightly younger AFC running back, Ryan Mathews. The former Fresno State star was the most hyped rookie running back coming into last season, however, injuries derailed what otherwise would have been a strong start for the young Charger. With a year of experience under his belt, and Phillip Rivers calling the shots, mark him down for 1200+ yards and 9 TD's.

WR's: Although DeSean Jackson is considered by many to be the Eagle's top receiver, I have a feeling Jeremy Maclin will inherit that title this season. With his physical play and blazing speed (runs a 4.3, almost as fast as Jackson), Maclin is the perfect compliment to Andy Reid's system. While not what one would necessarily consider a "breakout player", Maclin is in prime position to top his 2010 totals. Honorable mention goes to Mike Simms-Walker, who now suits up for the St. Louis Rams.

TE: Everyone who watched Dustin Keller's play during the first third of the 2010 season knew the guy had talent. Unfortunately, he faded as the season wore on, and finished with only 687 yards and 5 TD's for the year. After venturing deep into the playoffs last year, the Jets look for Mark Sanchez to improve in all aspects of his game, which can only means good things are to come for Keller, as he was clearly Sanchez's security blanket in tough situations. I can see him possibly finishing as a top 5 TE this season.

I would be worried about Maclin. Mono is no joke.... the fatigue can last for months or even a year. Not to mention difficulty sleeping which is possible. Someone I think will lead the NFL in rushing this year; Ray Rice.

Lagarett Blount. Cadillac is gone and hewas only asked to know half the playbook last yr since he was a free agent signing that didn't get on the field til the halfway point of the season. Good young qb to take the pressure off of him. I'm all over Blount this yr

I wouldn't expect a great year from Maclin either, He had alot of targets last year but it seemed like those all came when Vick was out. Vick just doesn't seem to target him too much, for whatever reason. As far as wide outs I could see chad Ochocinco coming up big this year now that he's on a team with a great QB.

Totally agree with Blount. He should do well this year. I also think for WR Michael Crabtree could have a big year. For QB I could see McNabb putting up some big numbers in Minnesota.

I hope you're right about Stafford and Matthews. I have both.

Josh Freeman should have a good year. James Starks (Packers, RB) also has the potential to be a good fantasy player.

I also expect big things from Kevin Kolb. Although maybe im a bit too optimistic...

Ryan Matthews can suck a fat one. I spent a 2nd round pick on him last year. Bastard.

Yeah.. R.Matthews totally screwed me too. Always hurt. I'll be avoiding him this year. L.Blount should build on last years breakout season. He's a solid pick. And I think this is the year the Jets finally go to Shonn Greene as their feature RB and give him 20-25 carries a game. Many spent a high pick on him last year and got burned. I think this is S.Green's year to become Fantasy worthy as a solid #2 RB on your roster. LT's workload will be toned down this season. He was wore out late in the year.

I think Marshawn Lynch could be a good flex, or matchup based starter this year. The line has improved, and they are going to run the ball more.
