I just wanted to know who people's favorite athletes are.

Mine is Julio Cesar Chavez. He had everything a true warrior should have in the boxing ring. He had double fisted power, a great chin, legendary grit and determination, was extremely well conditioned, and an extremely gracious warrior. Over his 25 year career he won titles in 3 different divisions, won the first 93 fights of his career and went 104-5-2 in his career.

Out of the top past and present favorites (Dan Marino, DeSean Jackson, Reggie Miller, and LeBron James), I'd have to say LeBron.

Since Basketball is the only sport I watch I'll have to say Michael Jordan. Present...Lebron or Kobe.

I like Brett Favre. You have to look past all of his off season nonsense and see the true Favre. Stuff like when he tackled Percy Harvin after his first NFL TD, or running 40 yards downfield to throw a block. I respect him. Also, John Olerud back when he played for the Mariners. Great 1st baseman.

There is no valid argument for pro wrestling being a sport. There is no true competition, and the results are staged. Auto racing, which I abhore, is more of a sport than pro wrestling.......

Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Shaq, Dwyane Wade, Patrick Ewing, Peyton Manning, Michael Strahan and Eli Manning. I'm probably missing a few but these are the ones that came to mind at first. I also left out a few young athletes that I'm really becoming a big fan of (David Lee of the Knicks and Hakeem Nicks of the Giants.)

When growing up was Darryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden in baseball, Barry Sanders and the real LT(NY Giants)in football, Patrick Ewing in basketball, Agassi in tennis, Brian Leetch in hockey.

Now would be - David Wright and Deter Jeter in baseball, D. McNabb and Manning brosin football, David Lee in basketball, none in tennis now, Lundquist in hockey
