Your favorite fighter?

I'm wondering what people's favorite fighter of all time is. Let's not get into the stupid "boxers aren't fighters" debate please. It can be from mma, boxing, even kickboxing or muay thai.

My favorite fighter is Wanderlei Silva. He was born to be a fighter. Vicious in the ring, and extremely gracious and caring outside. He gives everything he has everytime and does it solely because he loves to fight. I met him a couple months ago, and he is a different person than you see in the cage. He was so nice. He didn't have to stay after a jiu jitsu seminar for an hour to sign autographs and talk to people, but he did, and he seemed genuinely happy to be doing it.

Who is your favorite fighter of all time?

Mine is Wandy too closely followed by Fedor.

It pains me to see Wandy losing like he has been recently.

Like you said, outside he is caring and very gracious for all his family and friends, in the ring he is (was?) just a freaking beast.
