So, what do you think? True, this is yet another FF spin-off, but still there are many people who like it and will most likely get the game. Even though I'm not a fan of FF spin-offs, I'll most likely buy it. Personally, however, I'm not as much hyped for this game as I am for Crisis Core or even FFT: Lion Wars for that matter.
I see how diverse the opinion is on this game! It seems FFXII became like FFVIII and its love-hate situation! I thing the only reason I'll check into Revenant Wings is because of the battle system, which I'm interested in seeing how I will like it. And the artwork and design of the game....
Seeing as I'm 127 hours into FFXII, I'm looking forward to it!! When I heard of the new battle system of FFXII, I was very sceptic. I loved my turn based FF!! But, I gave it a go, and totally love the game. I keep having moments where I think, there's no way I'm gonna be able to capture all the marks and hunt trophies!! So, yes!! I'm looking forward to it!!...

Revenant Wings looks promising. Looks like it's going to be quite confusing to choose a DS and a PSP. It's more like choosing between Revenant Wings and the remake of FFT :roll:
I think I'm going to go for the DS. There are a lot more games that I want to play on it, so it wouldn't just be all Final Fantasy, all the time. I think I'm going to angle for a FFXII: RW limited edition DS when they're released next month. It looks pretty sweet. I mean, I liked Tactics, and I think the remake looks fun, but I can't really think of many other games for the PSP that I want to play.
I am, but I'm much more interested in Revenant Wings, since I'm really loving FFXII. I don't have a problem with FFVII, as I've yet to play it, but I think that particular part of the FF universe has been done to death. Plus, I can get FFIII and Kingdom Hearts:CoM, in addition to a lot of non-RPGs that I'd really like to play. I can only afford one or the other, so I'm basing my decision on how much use I'm going to get out of either system in general. The DS just has more games that appeal to me overall.
Well, I also have a mortgage and a lot of photographic equipment to buy, so that's not really an option for me, sad to say.effkay
Yep. I only got my PSP because I got pretty good refund from my taxes this year; other than that, I wouldn't be able to afford one right now... So you have photographic equipment huh! What's your profession? Or just hobbie?
My day job is as a librarian's assistant at a local university, but I'm a night student, and I also do freelance photography on the side. I've done a few weddings, but most of my work is portraits and fine art, a lot of nature and macro (extreme close-up) work. This is the perfect time of year for that, because the flowers are beginning to bloom, and the lend themselves very well to macro. The colors and textures are amazing!

Yeah, I am excited for Crisis Core too....lots.....but I will definitely give RW a shot; I am so behind on my games right now that it will just have to be added to the list though :)
