i just got chrono cross and it is awsome. they said there would be a sequel.  WANT A SEQUEL! NOW!    does anyone has any info on "chrono break"?safshaft

I think Square-Enix isnt prepared to attempt a sequel of what some consider to be the best RPG of all time. I believe this to be due to the fact that a lot of the original staff that worked on the original games (Hironobu Sakaguchi, Akira Toriyama) have left Square. They could attempt a sequal but I doubt it would have the flair of the original games. The closest we´re going to get to a follow up is the Mistwalker game Blue Dragon which has a lot of the people who worked on the Chrono games working on it.

I've seen a fan made re-make (or sequel) that looked very promising. To bad Square shut them down. The trailer showed Crono & co. in 3-D. It looked like it would have been great to play. I believe it was called Crono Resurrection. Wish there was a way to play that version.CMakaCreative

on wikipedia they said square registered the name "chrono break" and that it is still registered. that is still hope for a sequel

Square Enix themeselfs, they already copyrighted the name Chrono Break

I would love some more Chrono's !!!!!!!!!! I own both ChronoCrodss and ChronoTrigger. I agree that although the concept of a new one would be awesome, I would fear that it would not live up to the first two's standards.juliaryder
