**SPOILER WARNING** Gives away stuff near the end of FFVIII so don't read if you havn't completed FFVIII and want to see it all for yourself and still be surprised!

The game didn't make it perfectly clear, you battled him inside Lunatic Pandora, if you had Odin(Secret GF that occasionally and randomly kills all enemies in battle except bosses) he would show up and try and kill Seifer, but Seifer would kill him. Odin's sword would fall into the ground and later in the battle another GF picks it up and ends the battle with Seifer. Wether or not you have Odin that battle is the last time you see Seifer during the actual game, he doesn't die but he is injured when you last see him, and there is footage of him fishing with Rajin and Fujin in Balamb during the end credits of the game. This is either a flashback to good times(implying he died) or confirmation that he is OK but I myself am unsure :(

I'm going to take this question as, "Who would you like to hang out with in real life?" which really narrows it down a bit,
Auron: Would probably try to teach me life lessons, which would be....lame.
Vincent: Probably wouldn't say much.
Sephiroth: Would kill me.....which would suck no doubt.
If you count KH as FF which you might as well do,
Sora: would be all righteous on me.
Riku: Would just leave alot.
Kairi: I would have to go to all the disney lands trying to save her again.
Kihmari: Doesn't talk at all. (Except for leave some for Kihmari.)
this process continues until you are left with Three characters: Tidus, Yuna and Rikku, Tidus can be excluded because he would challenge me at blitzball, Yuna: I would hang out with her sure, but I just think Rikku would be more fun to hang with you know?
