Well I never restart the game just because I am stuck on a boss, I'll just train some more, or keep fighting the boss until I win, But I never start the game over.

I've been stuck ( usually the final one ) on bosses more than once and sometimes for weeks on end but eventually they go down.

Yeah I have done that a few times, not because I was stuck on a boss though, but because I wanted to play the game again differently.  For example, in FF 5 (one of the hardest ones), I spent my time gaining ABP for crappy jobs so I started over.

I dont do that because i get stuck on a boss however i do sometimes start a game again because i miss the start so much, for example i'm playing FF VIII at the moment and i'm just in ultimecias castle and i miss the start of the game so much like being back in balamb and playing cards at the start  etc.

i do get stuck on bosses but i dont start new games.  usually what i do is leave the game for a while and think of what i could do different to beat the boss then if that doesnt work i i think of something else.  sometimes it takes a while but this system has never failed me

Well i did that while playing Final Fantasy X. I got Stuck on Yunalesca and i was too weak so i decided to restart the game again and i got a LOT Stronger, then i defeated Yunalesca with ease. It was a good feeling to actually beat her but when i found out that there was more to the game, well, i was stunned and happy at the same time.

I dont do this for every game though. Only once for Final Fantasy X.

Yeah see it pretty odd. The first time i went around see was so easy. But the second time i went though she kicked my ass so much i had to go cheap and overdrive all my aeon on her. No that has not happened to me b4 except on ff10 and 5 but ive given up on ff5.

Well there have been sertain parts of the game that I would get stuck on, But I dont think I ever restarted just for that. I usually just continue trying to beat whatever I am on at the time. And I've always beat it, for now at least.

ive only restarted one game once i figured out some things i never did before.  The first time i played through FFT i didnt realize how jobs worked and jp and all that.  Once i figured it out somewhere in chapter 2, i restarted and had a lot more fun.  I havent done this other times because usually like others, if i get stuck on a boss ill either keep trying to figure out tactics, or use a faq.
