I agree no way is X-2 part of the legit series, it had next to no plot structure and spoiled the strong ending of X. If they were going to bring back Tidus it would be nice if they even attempted to justify his appearence, the same goes for Sephiroths sudden appearence in AC, he didn't show up cuz the plot warrented it but because everyone would be upset if he didn't make an appearence. I'm finding that as they keep making sequals of sequals their actually ruining my enjoyment of the original games, this would never have happened under Sakaguchi he had integrity, Wada is a whore!
If there will be one, make it Cloud and Tifa's son to be the protagonist! His name could be Rain or Hail (Cloud's byproduct LOL)!
Lol or isometric pressure system:D

Actually the whole freakin' plot was based on him coming back! They were trying to get Jenova's head to resurrect Sephiroth!
**SPOILER FOR FFX**
And about bringing Tidus back how could you? HE'S DEAD!!
Actually the whole freakin' plot was based on him coming back! They were trying to get Jenova's head to resurrect Sephiroth!
I still stand by my claim that it was unjustified. They kept trying to get a piece of Jenova then Cloud sliced up Jenova then cloud an Kadaj fought for a bit then Kadaj magically turns into Sephiroth. Now perhaps i'm missing a vital link in the plot or something but I don't feel as if this makes a bit of sense in even the vaguest terms.
*sigh* Let me explain it, but first I'll start with a question, when did Cloud slice up Jenova in the film? Now, Cloud and Kadaj fight for it as you say, because Cloud doesn't want another Sephiroth, Sephiroth = bad news, Kadaj wants to be Sephiroth, Sephiroth = cool and powerful, Cloud starts winning so Kadaj adds Jenova's cells to his own by burying her head in his chest, the Jenova cells turn him into Sephiroth, large battle ensues, you know the rest. Not so much vague as dangerously easy to followActually the whole freakin' plot was based on him coming back! They were trying to get Jenova's head to resurrect Sephiroth!

I beg to differ friend. The Sephiroth clones to which Kadaj was party had already been infused with Jenova cells to the same extent to which Sephiroth was, the same can also be said of Cloud, now none of these people had any previous history of spontaniously turning into Sephiroth. How does absorbing more Jenova cells turn a person into Sephiroth, if anything it would make them more like Jenova. People infused with Jenova cells don't become Sephiroth by default, she leaves her genetic imprint on them but then so too do their parents. Sephiroth's appearence is equally attributable Jenova, Lucreatia and Tseng by turns(though his power and demeanor seem largely influenced by Jenova). To add to this conundrum, the Sephiroth we see in AC knows Cloud so he would presumably be the same Sephiroth from the original (in the sense of him possesing all his former memories an experience). Kadaj absorbed the head of Jenova not the head of Sephiroth so why then does he turn into Sephiroth complete with all his past memories. even supposing Jenova could physically turn him into Sephiroth he couldn't possibly be privvy to Sephiroth's experiences in his first incarnation. So why then does Sephiroth show up in this manner, short answer: only because fans would have been pissed off if he didn't magically materialize out of the ether. So....uh....it's not so much dangerously easy to follow... as....ahem....rather vague!
well idk if they will make another but if they do it will prolly be ok but if they wanted to make a movie make it about one of the other final fantasy's and they shouldnt just stay with one game expanding the other game might do them better in the long run rather then put all there time into makeing a already popular game even more popular there have been so many games related to ffvii and they should try something different and expand another game like they did with ffvii. Csouljah54There is rumors that an FFX movie is in the making....
I think that they will in a few years. If you notice when ever the public asks for something they tend to only give them a little taste of it and then hold on to it for a while before they give it to us. Like the movie they told us that they were making it years before it was released. I hope that they remake FFVII for the PS3. But as you can see they taunted us with that tech demo. But even in movie form that would an amazing video. They could even make it into two movies or more if they want to get into detail. Â
but you forget the fact that Sephiroth was born from a Mako tank (remember the Mako reactor at Nibelheim?) And at no point does it say that Kadaj's gang have mother's cells implanted in them, they have the eye colour of someone with Mako infusion and are trying to retrieve Jenova but that's about the height of it.
LOLOLOLOLOLGWAHAHAHAHAHA! Ok so if the difference between Sephiroth and an everyone else was that he was born in a mako tank why does Kadaj suddenly turn into Sephiroth, he didn't suddenly get born in a mako tank during the fight that I could see. Oh an btw as shinra experiments i'm sure all of the Sephiroth clones were born into Mako tanks, as Hojo was trying to re-create his Sephiroth experiment which one would assume would involve createing them in the same way, an fyi cloud spent time in a mako tank too.An yeah Kadaj an his gang do have Jenova cells why else do they call her "mother" and cloud "brother" if not for the genetic relationship between them through their Jenova cells.
Kadaj turns into him because he absorbed JENOVA'S WHOLE FREAKING HEAD AT ONCE, I'm sure you've noticed but a head contains A LOT of cells.......but obviously a few cells are not an awful lot of cells are they, hence the transformation with a WHOLE HEAD OF CELLS!
Um why exactley would Shinra imbue the Sephiroth clones with less Jenova cells than Sephiroth? there s'posed to be clones afterall, you know what a clone is don't you? it's something which is replicated to the most exact specifications that it's creators can achieve. Now from here if Kadaj absorbed anymore Jenova cells he would become less like Sephiroth rather than more like Sephiroth owing to the fact that they had more or less the same amount of cells to begin with. Oh an Cloud did get injected with Jenova cells. It was the games initial supposition that he was just infused with mako yet in one of Clouds bonus scenes (I think the one with Zack escaping from the lab) we find out that he does have the cells which is why Sephiroth is able to manipulate him throughout the game, and why the clones call him brother, because genetically speaking he is their brother. Anyways getting back to the point Sephiroth's appearence in AC was thoughoughly unjustified absorbing Jenova's head does not justify Kadaj transforming physically and mentally into Sephiroth, it is an enourmous leap in logic to assume that this in anyway makes sense no matter how many cells he absorbed, the cells are irrelivent. I wouldn't suddenly turn into Karl Rove by drinking 10 gallons of human blood, an that's as much sense as the AC plot attempts to make.
